There you are

Inuyasha leaped from the clear water completely dry. It was an act would cause confusion but at a time like this was the least concerning thing. What had caught his attention was the lovely female that stood a small distances away from him.

You stood there with the same innocent look that soothed Inuyasha to no end. After longing to see your pretty face for so long, this made his heart beat like crazy. A smile that was reserved for you crawl on to his lips quickly. One step at a time, he made his advance to reach you.

At least tried to.

Daisuke and Aiko blocked his view of you with their bodies in order to keep him at bay. They had their orders to restrain the silver haired male from ever touching you. Lady Oro's demands.

"Move." The anger that resides in his voice was unwavering. He meant what he had said. If they didn't step aside he was willing to do whatever he had to. Having you in his arms was he priority.

"No. You will step away and return from wherever you came from. You have no business with Milady." Daisuke knew who exactly he was. Other than his name, he knew why Inuyasha was so determined to take you with him.

He saw the moments you shared with him. The smiles you gleamed with his presence. He knew how much you were in love with the stubborn male. Knowing that he had to make sure you carried out your purpose made him a bit sad. He was made to prevent anymore of your happiness to prevail.

This ultimately meant he had to annihilate Inuyasha. To put him to rest if he ever got the idea of robbing you of your hellish destiny here. Whatever your actual birth mother said you are made to do, you will do. It was his job to see it through.

This doesn't push aside all the dreams he had for you. He wanted you to be who you wanted and be at peace. It took nail biting discipline for him not to just tell you to run. He just couldn't.

"Yes, I do have business with her. Now move." Nothing was getting through his hard head. His ground was intact and ready for anything that would be thrown at him. Despite his deep injuries, he was ready to fit anyone.

"Inuyasha. Please just go." Inuyasha's ears perked up at the voice that he swore was melodious. His sight shifted in order to drink in the rest of you. The light that peeled through the leaves, landed on your cheek. As if it belonged to you.

He could never get tired of how you were. How you glow will forget be engraved in his conscience. "You remember me?" It was a shock even for you. After all this time that a foggy storm raged inside your brain, you were finally able to remember the young boy who you loved.

His name felt right. His appearance was everything.

You wanted to get all the memories back now. But slowly they were returning, meaning there was more to your story with him.

The aura that was flaring from the Angel male in front of you made you think twice. He was emitting a deathly feeling, one that made you believe that he was willing to kill Inuyasha if he fails to follow instructions. Knowing that you rather have him live than die here for you, you asked him to leave.

You should've known that pleading wasn't going to do anything. You can be on your knees begging him to go where he'll be safe and he will still decline. He needed you with him and nothing was going to change his mind.

"No. At least not without you." He jumped over their heads to land in front of you. Before you knew it, your body was enveloped into his. Arms interlocking around your back to pull you in closer.

"(Y/n), I have been looking for you for so long. I will not let you leave my sight ever again." Every word he spoke held truth. No lie. Just a softness that lingered in your heart, one that only he could provide. All you wanted to do was lay your whole live within his palms and just let go.

To live a blissful life where you know you'll be safe. Cared for diligently. Every signal informed you that Inuyasha will always protect you, keep you happy. That's all you want. You want him.

"Please. You can't be pulled into this mess." Inuyasha's soul felt the sorrow that accompanied your pleads. It made him break down inside, crumple into a painful pile of ache. You shouldn't need to take on the heavy world on your delicate shoulders.

"I don't care. I just want to be here with you." His grip tighten with fear of you disappearing once again. He wasn't ready for that, a life without you was one he didn't want.

"Please just let me care for you." It made Daisuke and Aiko gloomy to see how the both of you imploring for opposite things. Yet each were out of love that was impossible to mistake.

"Inuyasha. Please just go. I...promise to come back to you." Yes, it was a mistake to promise things that you yourself weren't exactly sure if you'll be able to complete it but you could only hope.

"No. I am coming with you." As soon as that came from his mouth his lips attached to yours. The meshing of your teeth proved how powerful the kiss was, being fueled by longing and pure love. The idea caused you to swell with melancholy. A deep sadness of how much you missed him and how much you don't quite remember.

You tugged his robe towards your body to collide and squish the open space you out of existence. You needed him to be one with you. Tears streamed down your face with the realization that it couldn't happen. You had to let him go, no matter what.

Pulling back you looked deeply into the golden irises that was hazy with emotions. Ones that told you that all of his life now belonged to you. He was yours. But you couldn't have him.

"I'm sorry." Just as he blinked.

You faded into a memory.
