*Inuyasha's Pov*

A huge thunk could be heard where the arrow met with the tree behind me. Kagome dropped to her knees as she covered her face. Hiding the saltly tears that fell down her cheeks. Sobbing she began to slurp words I could barely make out.

"I.......sorry......Please?" She looked up to my face expecting me to answer her. Seeing her so distressed made my soft heart ache. '(Y/n) really made me soft.' I squat to get at eye level with her, slowly nodding as she spoke. I couldn't grasp what she wanted to tell me, but showing signals that you are there does so much for a person.

"Hey, it's fine. You didnt know what you were doing" She began to shake violently with fright. "No, you dont understand. I-Im the reason were in this mess. If I had just stayed with you guys I probably wouldnt have been controlled by him. We probably wouldve been fine if-"

"Wait. Whos him?" My question caused her to still. No moving a muscle, not even to breathe. Her eyes raced from side to side most likely following my mind that seems to turn. Hands raised to grip bundles of hair, roughly tugging.

"I-I dont think I got his n-name. But he was tall and dressed in white....l-like me. He looked about forty and was talking about (Y/n)-" The mention of her name caused a frantic feeling to erupt in my gut. "Did you see her? How was she? Is she okay? Do you remember the way?" My spitfire question overwhelmed her greatly. The moment my last one flew she fainted.

"Inuyasha? I think she needs to rest. Lets get her on Kirara and go where we think she might be." 'That's right. Kiyoshi is gone.'

"Yeah. Okay." I exhaled the words meekly. I felt more exhausted than I have been before. All of this weight and pain is crushing my spirit the more things happen. I wanted to curl up in a warm embrace and sleep. 'She needs me.'

With that thought, I trudge my sore body up to lift her onto the large feline. My leg burned with every step I took to make it over to her. I held back my painful grunts to myself so no alarms sound in my friends' minds. 'Friends' I was glad I had them for an anchor. They reminded me that I am not insane to be chasing the angel that was taken from us.

"Where do you think we should start?" Miroku questioned as he helped load Kagome onto Kirara. I had no idea. The person who knew where to go was gone, thus leaving us stranded with no direction to follow. "I don't know. Let's just head North."

Everyone nodded as they began to march forward.

*(Y/n)'s Pov*

The man kept conversating with himself as he stared at an orb. I peek to the sphere light ultimately landing my eyes on Kagome who engaged in a brutal duo with a male dressed in red. He carried a familiar vibe to him but I couldn't quite place my finger on. She began to win when out of nowhere the male pinned her, gripping her with sharp claws that drew blood.

The moment she came in I felt a little dislike towards her attitude, but I knew nobody deserves to be where she is. She's being controlled by the ruthless man that turned her against her will. By the looks of it, the boy is friends with her. He is holding back from hurting her profoundly. 'He hasn't even used his sword at all!' Everything was turned to Kagome eventually losing.

"KIRARA DROP HIM!" Resonated in the air as the large feline dropped the young boy in the pond. The bodies of waters led to an abyss as the man once said to Kagome. That is unless he chooses to accept whatever falls, which in turns falls here. I prayed to whoever has a strong to allow him to keep the young boy alive.

The powerful being must've heard me loud and clear, as the small kid tumbled from an open portal that the man in white unlocked. He fell in the arms of the gruffing male. "Mmmmm. She dropped you?" The small child whimpered as he came eye to eye with the frowning elder.

"I didn't expect to see you ever again." My eyes widen in shock as I got a closer look at the (H/c) haired boy. 'Kiyoshi?' He must have read my mind as I saw his eyes shift to me in my prison. He began to grunt out, thrashing around to escape of his grip to reach me. The male looked back to where I was to raise an eyebrow.

"Ahhh I forgot I made you for her. Seeing as you did a horrible job." At this point, everything that came out of his mouth was turned to gibberish. I was too concentrated on getting the kid back to me. "Tell me (Y/n)? Do you know this creature is your "brother"?" I froze as he began to spill secrets I didn't know existed. "Mmmm. Well, he isn't really your brother by birth but by blood, yes. I made this infant make sure you remembered your position and mission. But he allowed you to live a pathetic human life. You've been talked down on because he sealed your power. He made you useless."

I looked at the shivering little body that was thrown against the tree. I shed fat tears as he began to wail. 'Are you okay?' I tried to get him to speak to me but no valid. He was in too much agony to reply. "He made you ignorant. For what reason I fail to see. I should've taken his eyesight instead of his voice." I choked on the saliva that was in my mouth from anger. 'Is it true? Did he do this?' He stopped his sob to listen to my questions.

I suppose he expected me to lash out at him, for what he did. He was surprised to hear my calm, concerned voice echo in his head. 'Yes. Please (Y/n) know I-I just wanted you to live an easy life...I am sorry.' I shot him a grin. 'No worries okay? Everything is going to be fine.'

"I see he is trying to talk to you. Mmmm. I am sorry Mi'Lady, but we don't do traitors." He slammed his head against the thick tree to coldly knock him out. Before I could protest I felt my vision go black.
