Malory POV:

"Well, it looks like we're done here..." TinTin said as Nestor closed the door behind us and we started to make our out.

"I just wish we would've found another clue. Without the ship we have no lead..." He said as he crawled back through the hole.

"I'm not so sure about that..." I said as I started to crawl as well.

"What do you mean?" TinTin asked as he held out a hand for me to help me up.

"Nestor told me something while you were talking to Sakharine." I told him as I rose up and fixed my skirt and he busied himself with taking off his rain coat again and putting it over my shoulders.

"He said that he hopes you've found all the pieces of the mast and that things are so easily lost." I told him, hoping he could make some sense out of that.

TinTin looked at me in awe as he started to hum in thoughts and walking away, back to the town. I watched him for a minute before I hurried to join him, holding onto the coat.

"What do you think he meant by that?" He suddenly asked me, making me surprised because I didn't think he'll come to me for an idea about a clue for his story!

His story... Oh Nuggets! I'm part of his story! WHOOHOO!

"I... I'm not sure, maybe he meant that you missed something. Did something fall from the ship when it dropped?" I asked, hoping that I sound serious and that I won't let out an uneeded squeal of delight as we kept walking.

"Not that I could remember, just the mast broke." He informed me.

"I still can't believe you didn't tell me that!" I said and nudged his arm a little, he chuckled a little as he held his arm.

"It all happened so fast and I got caught up with finding out what happened on the ship and when the model dissapeared from my apartment all I could think about was to retrieve it." He said in defense as he put his hand behind his back. I hummed with a little roll of the eyes and we kept walking silently for a few minutes.

"Can I ask you a question?" TinTin asked all of the sudden.

"Of course, what?" I asked as I kept looking at Snowy running around while we entered the town.

TinTin looked around for a second, probably trying to think of how to ask whatever he wanted to. But finally:

"What does Sakharine want from you? Why does he keep mentioning the High Class to you?" I was surprised and blushed.

"Well... to be honest I didn't know who Sakharine was until you said his name back at the mansion and now I know... He's one of the biggest donors of the High Class." TinTin looked at me in surprise.

"He is? I didn't know the High Class got donations." He told me.

"Not the High Class... Madam Jackline just likes to take a vacation from us sometimes... especially from me..." I whispered the last part, a little hoping he didn't get it.

"I think he tried to tell me that he'll 'give a hint' to Madam Jackline that he might stop donating unless I'll get booted out of the High Class, and seeing my behaviour and the fact that she wants her vacation in France, it won't be hard to convince her." I said a little sadly.

No One POV:

"Wait! Was he threatning you... because of me?" TinTin asked gently, rubbing the back of his head.

Right now, he realized, he got his new friend into a bad situation because of his stupidity.

"What? No! Don't say that! It's all on me! All what I've done and decided is what led me here, none of it is your fault!" Malory said in shock.
