Malory POV:

I felt shivers going down my spine and a tear rolling down my cheek as I almost could see like Captain how the poor men were getting eaten alive by the sharks, which were probably circling their ship, in my head.

"Sir Francis knew he was doomed." Captain said as he let go of TinTin, who was supporting him.

"That he'd be hung from the highest yardarm" He pointed at the log on the cieling as he walked around the room.

"But they didn't reckon on one thing!" He said excitedly and faced our focused faces from the other side of the table, "Sir Francis was a Haddock. And a Haddock always has a trick up his sleeve."

With a sneaky expression he pulled the quill out of the inkwell...

The hidden knife gave a little spark from its' hideout as Sir Francis slowly let his head fall down, as if he's falling asleep with the drunk and sleepy pirates, before jerking it up and his feathery knife flew from his hat into his mouth and to the captured hand by his side.

He twisted it until it faced upwards and cut the ropes.

Captain turned to look at us.

"And with that, he hurls himself forward!" He said and jumped from his seat before thrusting his fists against the table, startling the soldeirs.

"On the pirates? Like that? Unarmed?" TinTin asked in awe.

"No! No, on a bottle of rum rolling on the deck." He said and grabbed the bottle that was on the table.

"And he opens it up," He opens the bottle, startling the soldeirs again but Delcourt hurried to stop them, "and puts it to his lips, and..."

"And then he stops." I said quickly as I grabbed his hand by the last minute, knowing we're going to have a different story if he'll take it, "'This is no time for drinking,' he says. 'I need all my wits about me.'" I gave TinTin a quick look before looking back at the Captain.

"With that, he puts down the bottle and..." I motioned 'keep going' with my other hand to the Captain while the soldeirs lowered the rifles.

"Yes, yes, he puts down the bottle... And he seizes a cutlass!" He suddenly said and grabbed his sword from the table, startling the soldeirs once more.

Sir Francis grabbed the sword he found on his way down.

"And then he makes his way to the ship's magazine, where they keep all the gunpowder and the shot!" Sir Francis put the sword in his belt and picked an open gunpowder barrel.

He started pouring the gunpowder as he made the way back to the deck, walking backwards.

He was about to finish as he finally reached the main deck without anyone waking up! All that's left is light up the powder and escape!

But-

"You dog!" Sir Francis turned to look at the murder with an angered expression as the one being spoke held his sword out.

"You'd blow us sky high?" Rackham said as he swung his sword right and left.

"Come on, then." Sir Francis said as he put down the barrel and took out his sword.

"Let's have you!" And with that he cut a rope that was holding a lantern, making the lantren broke and the gunpowder caught on fire as the two started fighting.

Sir Francis charged at Rackham but Rackham dodged him and skipped towards the fire.

"Not this time." He said through his handkerchief before putting the fire out by a swish of the leg.
