No One POV:
Bagghar has seen a lot of unusual things on Bianca Castafiore's show day.
So it didn't really surprise anyone when a part of Hotel Bagghar drove into the docks, stopped right in front of a sea and then a tank came out of it and fell into the water.
Thomson and Thompson rose up from the balcony, confused and relieved.
"We're saved!" Thompson called in relief.
"I love the beach!" Thomson suddenly said when he noticed where they were.
"You said you wanted a holiday." Thomson said.
"Quite. Very good."
The conversation kept going as out of nowhere a hotel critic came out of the entrance, saw the sea and with a little impressed smile added the third star to the hotel.
Captain didn't mind that as through his pacing he passed that.
"Nobody takes my ship!" He excalimed in anger before he paced back towards TinTin and Malory.
"They've already taken it." TinTin said tiredly.
"Nobody takes my ship twice!" Captain corrected as he stared at the now far away ship.
Malory kept squeezing water out of her hair on the ground as TinTin rubbed Snowy's ears gently.
"We'll show them, won't we, Fellas? All right then, what's the plan?" Captain asked excitedly as Malory swayed back her now almost dry ponytail.
"There is no plan." TinTin said blankly and Malory looked up at him in confusion.
"Of course there's a plan. You've always got a plan." Captain said dismissively.
"Not this time. Sakharine has the scrolls. They'll lead him to the treasure. It could be anywhere in the world. We'll never see him again. It's over." Malory couldn't believe what she was hearing and so did the Captain.
"I thought you were an optimist." He laughed as TinTin rose up from his folding chair just as Snowy shook himself, getting water in TinTin's eye who rubbed it away.
"Well, you were wrong, weren't you? I'm a realist." TinTin said with hands behind his back as he walked towards the Captain.
"That's just another name for a quitter." Captain said.
"You can call me what you like. Don't you get it? We failed... I failed." Malory frowned.
"Failed." Captain repeated before he started poking TinTin, sending him back to his chair while he spoke:
"There are plenty of others willing to call you a failure. A fool. A loser. A hopeless souse!" He pushed TinTin into the chair before he bent to his eye level.
"Don't you ever say it of yourself. you send out the wrong signal. That is what people pick up. Do you understand? You care about something, you fight for it. You hit a wall, you push through it. There's something you need to know about failure, Tintin. You can never let it defeat you."
Malory watched it all quietly. This is the Captain she saw back in the sea, no alcohol's power or anything. She was sure that TinTin sees it too.
But TinTin rose up.
"I'm sorry, Captain." Was all he said before he started to walk off, planning to wander his misery out.
Malory watched him leave, looked at the dissapointed Captain and back at him.
"No..." She mumbled before she stood up as well, lightly running towards him.
