Malory POV:

Of course I lost him! What did I expect?

I didn't want to wake anyone up so I just ran after him, hoping that he'll notice.

But he was probably too busy and eager about who knows that made him go out in that weather becasue he didn't see me and after a few turns he and Snowy disappeared.

Right now I was out on an open road, a little out of town.

What should I do? Should I go back?

But I have to talk to him! If I am already here, might as well do what I came for.

I walked even more, holding my silk shawl closer to me.

What was Madam Jackline thinking when she allowed that only in the school's dress code? It's not keeping me warm at all.

Finally I found myself next to a mansion.

I looked through the gate and saw TinTin walking towards the mansion.

"TinTin! TinTin!" I whispered-yelled, hoping he'd hear me but he didn't.

I tried to open the gate but it was chained.

"Ah!" I let out as I put my hands on my hips.

"If he didn't go through the gate then how did he get in?" I thought out loud.

I looked up at the wall, It's too high and there's nothing to hang on to...

I looked down and saw footsteps on the garvel road going to the left.

I followed them and found a large hole at the bottom of the wall.

"Snowy..." I thought out loud again as I realized that it was probably him who found it.

I crawled through it and got up, dusting my uniform clean.

I found my way back to the path and ran towards the mansion, hoping to find TinTin there.

A Few Minutes Ago, TinTin POV:

Snowy and I have finally reached Marlinspike Hall, a thunder was heard not too far from us.

I reached for the metal gate and tried to open it, hoping that the metal chain around the handles would break from all the years and rain that it has passed.

But the gate didn't budge.

I heard Snowy's bark coming from... in front of me.

I looked down to see him inside.

"How did you do that?" I asked in surprise and he ran to my left.

I followed him and saw a hole at the bottom of the wall.

"Clever boy..." I praised him as I crawled through the hole and rose up, dusting my clothes clean.

Walking down the path, I reached the house and turned on my flashlight.

I looked around, trying to find an entrance aside from the main door.

"Come on Snowy, Let's check the back." I whispered to my dog and we walked to the back.

Malory POV:

I finally reached the mansion and breathed heavily as I was trying to catch my breath.

"What? Where did they go?" I asked myself in confusion as I looked around.

The mansion seemed to be really old and dark and yet welcoming in some way. It was covered with Ivy everywhere, most of the windows' glass were broken and covered with dust and some of them were boarded from the outside, the water fountain was covered in raindrops' stains and didn't work at all...
