TinTin POV:

"Barnaby Dawes was one of the top agents at Interpol, but we haven't got a clue what he was working on." Thomson said as I looked up from the bloody newspaper.

"Quite right, Thomson. We're completely clueless." Thompson said.

"Interpol doesn't have any other leads?" I asked in hope.

"Steady on, Tintin. We're still filling out the paperwork." Thomson told me as he walked to my other side and I returned to looking at newspaper.

"Police work's not all glamour and guns. There's an awful lot of filing." Thompson informed me as he joined Thomson.

Malory POV:

"Girls! Halt the bikes! I need a moment to check the map!" Madam Jackline informed as she took the maps out of the basket of her bike.

Some of the girls groaned quietly.

"We're going to be stuck here forever!" Jan whined in a low voice to Tery.

I just sighed quietly as I put a hand under my chin, leaning on the handlebar. It's already noon and I still haven't succeed escaping the group. Thomson and Thompson must be gone by now.

Well! If I can't have more clues, let's focus on those we already have, I guess... I pulled the picture of newspaper from my pants' pocket and took out a pencil.

No One POV:

"Well, I might have something for you. Before he lost consciousness, Dawes tried to tell my friend something." TinTin explained as he held out a pencil over the newspaper.

"All I have to do is figure out what it was... I think he was spelling a word..." Malory said quietly, trying to remember the order Barnaby marked the letters.

"K-A-R-A..." She started and wrote it above the picture.

"B-O-U..." TinTin kept going and writing the next letters at the top of the newspaper.

"...D-J-A-N." They finished writing and picked up the papers to see what they've got.

"Karaboudjan?" TinTin read out loud as Malory read it quietly.

"Mmm? You were saying something, Maloriss?" Elizabeth asked as she turned to look at her partner.

TinTin POV:

"Karaboudjan?" Thomson called in shock as he took the newspaper from me and walked away a little.

"Does that mean anything to you?" I asked in hope.

"Great Scotland Yard!" He exclaimed, making me and Thompson to quickly walk towards him, "That's extraordinary!"

"What is?" I asked eagerly.

"Worthington's have a half-price sale on bowler hats!" He replied as I rolled my eyes in dissapointment.

"Really, Thomson!" Thompson said as he grabbed the newspaper and walked a little forward as well, "This is hardly the time." He said and looked at the newspaper before exclaiming:

"Great Scotland Yard!" Making me and Thomson to quickly walk towards him again.

"What is it?" Thomson asked.

"Canes are half-price, too!" He said I grabbed the newspaper from him in annoyance.

"Are you going to take charge of this evidence?" I asked, trying to be patient.

"Positively." Thomson told me as he took the newspaper from me again, walking towards the exit and I watched him go.

"Never fear, TinTin, the evidence is safe with us!" Suddenly I've heard a cat's screech and Thomson yelled in surprise as he started to fall down the stairs, probably stumbing over the cat from yesterday.
