As if it couldn't get any worse, my roommate slammed the fridge door shut as the other screamed at me.
"It's not my fault you ditched us for him!" I yelled.
"He's my boyfriend! We were suppose to go to the party together!" She screamed back.
"I can't stand you guys living here!" The other roommate shouted.
I took my things to my room, closing my door with a loud thud. They were still out there arguing. I checked to see what time it was; 2:30am.
I sighed, leaning back into my headboard. We were fighting over the stupidest things, like always. Ally went out with her boyfriend after she told Jean she was gonna be there for her at her grad party. We all had the party planned out months ago.
I rubbed my temples as the girls continued to pound each other. My phone dinged, causing me to groan and pick it up. Corbyn texted me. Why so early?
;hey, i hope you're up. could i come over? i really need you right now.
I told him to come on over, but threw the window. After cleaning up a bit, he knocked before coming in. He shut the window, coming over and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Hey, you alright?" I asked, looking at his eyes threw the mirror. He was about to say something when a worrying shatter came from the living room. I quickly went to see what happened.
Ally stood there dumbfounded as Jeans eyes were wide. The glass table in a million pieces. "I'm sorry," Jean whispered. I looked at them both angrily. That glass table was the last thing of my moms that I still had besides pictures and stuffed animals.
Corbyn stood behind me, rubbing my arms. "How could you have possibly broken the table? That table meant a lot to me!" I cried, going over to the glass pieces. It wasn't just some random glass table, it was glass etched and personal designed for my mother when my father was killed in the military.
I didn't even want to look at the girls anymore. I went past Corbyn, going back to my room. I bawled my eyes out into my pillow as he came over, laying down next to me. He wrapped his arms around me, calming me down.
"Why'd you wanna come over?" I asked again between sobs. "The guys were fighting, I didn't wanna be there." He chuckled at the situation I was in. "I don't wanna be here either." I sighed, wiping the tears off my face.
He gripped my waist, pulling me into his lap. "You can always call me if you need me." He smiled, holding my hands on his chest. "I know," I smiled back. I leaned down, kissing his forehead. He lightly pulled my chin down, making our lips touch.
"I think we need some sleep," I giggled, getting off of him to lay down again. He pulled me closer to his chest, listening to his heart beat as we fell asleep.
