laser tag | jack

My brother, Daniel, invited me to go laser-tagging with him and the guys. I said no about ten times before giving in so he would leave me alone. The main reason I didn't want to go was because Jack would be there, and I've had a huge crush on him for months now. Daniel promised to buy me whatever I wanted if I went, and I couldn't let that offer slip.

We got to the place, getting checked in for a game. They placed us around the arena, giving us all different colors. I was blue. The timer buzzed signaling the game started.

I snuck around, trying to keep as hidden as possible in my corner. I didn't want to make myself known until there was only three people left. I kept my finger on the trigger, getting ready to venture out.

I took a few steps forward before being pinned back in my corner. I looked up, seeing Jack smirking. He kissed my lips slowly and teasingly. It was getting heated quickly until my jacket started beeping, motioning that I got shot.

I looked down seeing Jack's gun pointed at my stomach. He backed away slowly without saying anything. He turned the opposite direction, going to find the last player. Did he really just use me to get me out?

I can't even be mad, I just kissed my crush. I trotted my way back to the rest boys, smiling happily. "What's the smile for? You got out." Daniel laughed. Corbyn came running out, Jack following behind him.

Jack winked at me as Daniel connected the dots. "Jack, I know you did NOT kiss my sister!" He chased Jack as they took off their gaming gear. Jonah nudged me, "Did you guys actually kiss?"

I nodded, "He used me to get me out."

"That's hilarious." Zach started throwing a fit of laughter, followed by Corbyn and Jonah.

We all got in the car as Daniel lectured Jack.

"Shut up dude, you act like you didn't know I liked her. And then you told me she liked me. I had to take my chance." Jack smirked, looking back at me.

"You told him I liked him?!" I smacked Daniels chest.

"Why am I the bad guy here?" He winced as we all laughed again.
