I slumped into the couch, ready for today to be over. I wake up, go to work for 10 hours, come home, eat, shower, then sleep. It was the same every day except Fridays, when I had off. Even when I have off, I either sleep, buy house supplies, or paint.

I had just closed my eyes when there was a knock at my door. I groaned, getting up. When I opened the door, the blonde haired boy smiled widely at me.

I sighed, "What?"

He frowned as I went and sat back on the couch. He closed the door, following over to me. He plopped down next to me, placing a bag on the coffee table.

I looked over at him, then the bag. As I went to grab it, he chuckled and took it from me.

"It's not for you. It's for my girlfriend."

I rolled my eyes again. Relationships are so stupid. All the ones I've been in, never lasted over a few months. I crossed my arms, turning away from him. When did he get a new girlfriend?

"What's wrong?"

"Love is stupid. It's so stupid! I don't see how people can call what they have love. It's horrible. I'm never dating anyone ever again."

He stood up, "Well, guess I can't give you what's in this bag then."

It took me a few seconds to realize what he said as he walked towards the door.

"Hey, wait minute!"

I pulled him back, giving him a confused look.

"You said it was for your girlfriend?"

He smirked, handing me the bag. I opened it up, seeing a box. I pulled the box out, opening it slightly.

"Holy shit, Corbyn." I gasped.

In the box was a beautiful rhinestone ring. It was so breath taking. I looked up at him, smiling.

"There's something else in there,"

I pulled out a piece of paper that said, "Be my one and only?"

I chuckled, "If this is some kind of trick, just leave now."

"I'm serious. I wanna be your boyfriend. I wanna treat you how you should be treated. So?"

I wrapped my arms around him, "Yes! Of course."
