𝓔ddie woke up with soft music playing from his stereo. His eyes squinted, vision blurry as he sighed. Shooting a glare at the box on his desk, he knew it had to of been Richie's actions. Eddie stood up and went over to it — hearing the familiar song King Without A Crown. The brunette shook his head at the choice in genre. "Alright, good one...but you can't do that. My mom'll freak if she hears me up this early." He exclaimed — the clock reading 5:54am.

Eddie knew he couldn't talk to Richie right now due to the time rules, so he just turned the radio off and got back in bed. All at once, there was a sound of a pencil against paper. Eddie furrowed his brows and looked back over to his stereo, looking beside it to see a paper with words messily scribbled onto it.

'Music is my best forte! I have all the best tracks.'

Eddie stared down at the paper, realizing this wasn't normal and that he was contacting someone from the undead. He sighed shook his head before he began to write on it. Once he did, he gave up and grabbed it, beginning to crumple it up. He threw it away and went back to his bed, now closing his eyes.

He still wasn't very comfortable with the fact that there was a spirit in his house. It was very new to him so he was anxious nearly all the time at the smallest of things. After a few seconds, his radio began to play Disorder by Joy Division very loudly. Eddie's eyes widened as he quickly went over, trying to shut it off. "Richie!" He scolded, glancing at his door to make sure his mom wasn't close to hearing it. "Eddie?" Sonia called.

Eddie unplugged the radio from the outlet and sighed in relief before seeing his mom walk in. She looked at him weirdly. "What are you doing?" She asked curiously. "Nothing." He said, standing still. Sonia furrowed her brows and stood in his room, looking around. "Do you need to see Dr. Keene?" She asked carefully, not knowing what he was up to. "No, I'm okay." He insisted.

Sonia squinted her eyes at her son before humming a bit. "A check up won't hurt." She muttered. Eddie's eyes went wide. "Are you insane? I have school in a few hours. You do know that, right?" He asked as he had left his room with her. "I'll call in." Eddie just sighed, not wanting to fight with his mother so early in the morning. Besides, he knew he'd lose anyways.

Eddie simply crosses his arms saltily, slipping his shoes on easily with a frown played on his lips. He hated that his mom was so very worried about him for no reason. He pulled a coat on and opened the door, seeing how dark it was from it being so early. The brunette walked to the car and laid his eyes on his mom locking the door as she walked over like this was some normal thing.
