𝓐 week passed since Eddie left his mom at the pharmacy and went with Stanley back to his house. Sonia obviously found out about it the night it happened and she debated on calling the police for a search party, but he wasn't missing. She called his cell phone and he picked up and tried his best to explain everything, but he still got into big trouble for sneaking out of the pharmacy.

It was a Sunday afternoon, also Eddie's 17th birthday. His mom let him sleep in since it was in fact his birthday. Also so she could plan everything with him being asleep. Eddie shifted in his soft comforter as he opened his eyes, looking around his room slowly. He picked up his cell phone and saw that it was one in the afternoon, catching him off guard. Then he saw numerous text messages all from his closest friends, which only put a large smile on his face.

Eddie closed his phone and got up from the bed, going over to his window. There was a black tape and a piece of paper on his desk so he picked it up and unfolded it, beginning to read over the familiar hand writing scrawled over the crumbled paper.

Guess who? Listen to the tape.

Eddie picked up the tape, reading the words on it. 17th - R. Eddie smiled down at it and plugged in the radio that sat on his desk, opening the tape dispenser. He put it in and pressed play, sitting down on a chair by his desk. Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen had began to play which made him smile happily. He picked up the paper and read over the list of songs.

     Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen
Age of Consent by New Order
I think We're Alone Now by Tiffany
Six Different Ways by The Cure
Out of Touch by Daryl Hall & John Oates
Every Breath You Take by The Police
     Hysteria by Def Leppard
     Sonora by Spendtime Palace

Eddie knew most of the songs, a few of them not so much. He noticed was one more track on there that wasn't a song, all the way at the bottom. It was a voice recording. Eddie stared at the radio for a moment, just listening to the music quietly.

The song was nearing to the end when he heard his mom started calling him from the front side of the house. Eddie sighed and paused the tape, going down the hall. He stopped at the kitchen. Much to his surprise, it was decorated while presents sat on the table. "Hi, mom..." He trailed off, not expecting this from her at all. There was also a card on the table and two lunch sandwiches.
