normally whenever eddie felt sick or when he was hurt somewhere, his mom would go to measures just to make sure he got better soon enough. but it was different now. now, he was sitting in a chair in the middle of nowhere with a growing bump on the back of his head and patrick in front of him — a wicked grin on his thinly face. eddie looked around wildly, brows furrowed with confusion. he didn't remember getting hit in the head. he tried to pull at his arms, but the rope around his wrists and the chair had prevented such actions. "what is this?" he asked, a small frown on his mouth as he looked back up at the boy in front of him. hockstetter tilted his head, his arms across his chest. "man, you're so gullible, eds." he chuckled, shaking his head as eddie watched a few dark strands fall from the back of his ear to the front of his face.

the dark haired boy leant down, eye to eye with the hostage. "we know about who you're talking to." he said smartly, brows raised. eddie was puzzled at his words, unaware of what he was talking about. "richie. that's his name, right?" eddies face fell at the name. richie. he knew he shouldn't have come. eddie shook his head once. "i don't know who you're talking about-" patrick got upset. "i know you're lying, kaspbrak. oh, so you don't remember that shit you said to me in the bathroom? huh?" he asked tauntingly as if he was trying to remind him. eddie did remember. only he knew he was gonna get in some kind of trouble if he said anything about richie, so he wanted to keep as quiet as he could and not say a word. "richie tozier." patrick began to read a book he picked up from the desk. eddie felt his blood boil. "senior in high school, graduated 1985." the boy read, a hand on his hip. he looked away from the book, it still being in his hand as he hummed softly. "no idea who that is?" he asked, dropping the hard covered book to the desk which echoed across the empty room.

patrick glanced at eddie, then back at the year book. "he's quite the looker. y'know...for a dead guy." he presumed, closing the book. "what do you want from me?" eddie finally asked, not finding this situation exactly a comfortable one to be in. patrick chewed on the inside of his cheek before standing up straight. "i don't want anything from you." he said as he pulled a familiar looking ring out from his front pocket, causing eddie to scowl. he wanted it back, but patrick has been holding onto it for a while now. "what do you mean we?" eddie asked, noticing he said that instead of i, as in himself. there was a small silence that lurked the room. "who else is here?" he asked, growing quite afraid knowing that there was someone else in the house as well. don't let it be henry, he thought.

honestly, eddie had some fear of henry bowers. he wasn't a kid to be around, he was brutal. a few years ago, he was held in a derry police cell at the station due to hurting a few kids down by the lake. he had always went out for strolls for hours after hours so he could go on quests. once the sun came up, there would always be adults scouting out and finding multiple dead animals around the woods — scathed and even skinned. many being wild outside cats and squirrels pulled from the large overgrown trees scattered about. but it wasn't henry behind the door. eddie looked up, in his horror it being his mother. his hazelnut eyes widened in sudden shock. that same shade of pale, blush pink that sonia had always wore was displayed on her old shirt, making eddie taste a vile flavor on his tongue. "no..." he said slowly, not believing it. he looked back at patrick, shaking his head as his palmy hands struggled to pull at the ropes around his frail wrists. his eyes had watered, seeing her walk closer.

sonias mouth tugged up from the sides, a short but wicked smile forming. "my eddie bear." she cooed, cradling the side of his face. eddie pulled away from her touch. the smile went to a disgusted look once she noticed he didn't look as happy to see her. "get the hell away from me." eddie spat, shooting her a hateful glare — and boy, if looks could kill. sonia would be buried six feet under by now. being hated by your only son didn't feel nice. she would know. sonia scowled, harsh fully gripping onto eddies chin and opening his mouth. eddie thrashed and tried to bite down, but a few powdered pills had already went in his mouth. eddie choked, trying to pull away and spit them out, but patrick poured some water in his mouth, causing the pills to easily slide down his throat like a slip and slide at a seven year olds birthday party.
