"Alpha Blake if you don't mind please tell your side of the story ?" elder Shaun asked . "One moment please." I lent down and whispered in Chloes ear "I'm so proud of you FOR doing that i know that was hard for you to do but after this is all done were gonna go and make a home for our baby ." I wipe the last few tears from her eyes hand her a hankie and kissed her head and she gave a small smile .

"May I ?" I asked the council members if I may continue ." 4 days ago when one of my Guards had notified me of a young lady which happenes to be my mate at the time I did not know that . She was sitting in the barrier of no mans land and my territory saying she was in bad shape . I told him to follow her if she moved and I called for a replacement for him as well as back to go with him ." "Did he approach her?" Elder jack asked " no he did not cause she had not broken any laws or done anything wrong so he did not . He just followed her back to here when she was past the border he notified me that she crossed into that territory and that he was heading home cause his shift had ended.

On his way back he found her diary which he brought back to me . When he did so I asked if it was her's and he acknowledged it was from the sent on it I could tell it was my mates . I told my beat to notifie surrounding packs that I may come past for a visit first stop being the light moon pack . "I looked down at my mate to see she had pailed

"I had read her diary to find out where she lived . That morning I arrived early to find a very injured Chloe being forced to cook breakfast for the whole pack as well as a pork roast for my later arrival . When I got in I immediately had Mike placed in the cells I went to go take my mate to go collect her belongings and to find out she stays in the basement with no hot water one pair of clothes and not even a toilet just a bucket."

'Dude you might want to wrap it up Lola tells me Chloe isn't feeling to hot '

" She had give her self stitches which had ripped and almost died due to the excessive blood loss I had to use my power as alpha king to get her help from the doctor. Her friends weren't even aloud to talk to her never mind help her . They told me this When she stayed over at the infirmary 2 days ago . I really think you should read the diary and find out for yourselves but now if you excuse us someone has morning sickness let's take a break for 5 minutes and then come back ja ?" Just as I said that Chloe got up and ran for the guest bathroom in the meeting room .

I was close behind her as soon as I got into the bathroom I closed the door and knelt behind her then I pulled her hair back and rubbed her back whispering sweet nothings to her as soon as she was finished she fell back into my lap breathless . I picked her up and sat her on the sink and one of the lady's knocked at the door and passed her a bottle of water . While I get a wash cloth to wipe her face . We sat in the bathroom for a while till she asked "How did you know I was going to get sick ?" She looked so tiered

"Easy Lola told axe you weren't feeling great ." I replied in a lay back tone . "Whoes lola and how did she know i was gonna be sick " " Babe I was also very confused and I can only speculate for now but I think Lola is  your wolf " she looked at me with confusion in her eyes. " He spoke to my what now ?" "your wolf . He's been speaking to her since we meet don't ask me how he is doing it but he is . Cause I know you haven't shifted yet. "

I went between her legs and put my head on her stomach " Now is the little monster calmed down enough that mommy feels better or do we need to wait a little longer ?" She gave me a soft smile "I'm ready to go back " I helped her off the counter and we held hands as we walked back to the table I pulled her chair out for her and helped ease her into the chair .

We waited a few moments before the council called everyone back in and elder Sarah asked "Chloe are you okay to continue?" Chloe stood up and replied " I am okay to continue. Thank you for asking elder Sarah. " They exchanged a smile before Chloe use my arm to help her sit down.

I looked at the elders as I awaited still not have taken a seat like everyone else . The only reason Chloe is sitting is 1 she's pregnant and 2 she's under the weather the council is very understand cause they be either been through that or had a mate go through that . "Please take a seat everyone and alpha king Blake you may continue when you are ready ." Elder Edward said . I stood up and continued. " What I saw was pure abuse. There was never any good reason to explain why he did what he did never mind he denided me of my mate and I quote 'she is worthless you could do better ' how is he a good example of a alpha for a pack I could have killed him on the spot but I want the pack members to know what a bad alpha he was . How can he rule a pack when he can't treat his own daughter with dignity. That is all I have to say thank you for listening " I took a seat and they started discussing what they wanted to do in a mind link .

" Okay . We would like beat Theo to please Come up here for us " they called a bunch more people but when they were asking the last few questions the door opened and everyone gasped . I could here the person walking forward so I didn't bother to look till a man I'd never seen before walked toward the council. Then turned his head to face Chloe and said "I'm the next one to tell my story okay with you gramps. "

Elder Edward looked confused then I looked at Chloe and was stunned by what she said it even to me a minute to process "Ryan Is . Is it really you . Oh my god i....I thought you were dead . " and she broke down into tears
