"𝐁ubba wake up! Bubba wake up! Bubba wake up!"

I groaned rolling over on the bed now laying on my stomach. Thinking that, that would make things stop but I was wrong. Brasen then started bouncing on my back, chanting the same thing. Over and over and over.

I still didn't answer.

Then I felt a hard slap on the side of my head. "Ouch Brase!"

"Brother get up I am hungry!"

"Ok, go tell mom."

"M-mommy not here brother remember!"

Oh yeah mom did tell me she would be out today. She claims she's going out to look for a job but that's not happening. I didn't wanna tell her no, so I'm just letting her occupy herself. But there's no way in hell I'm letting my mom work.

"Oh shit, yeah."

"Hey, don't say that-it's a bad word." She pouted as I rolled back over and she was sitting on my stomach with her little arms crossed.

I sighed running my hands through my hair and down my face. "My bad princess. Come on, let's go get you some breakfast."

She smiled and jumped up from my stomach, bouncing on the bed. "Yay! C-can I have lucky charms!"

"Sure why not." I nodded getting up from the bed and stretching before I went in the bathroom and did my morning routine before coming back and grabbing her.

"Brase, did you brush your teeth like we learned this morning?"

She nodded. "Mmhm, and I used the floss bubba! See!" She cheesed showing me all of her small teeth.

I chuckled and tapped her chin. "I see, lookin' good cutie."

Once we made it down to the kitchen, I grabbed myself and Brasen a bowl and two spoons before grabbing the milk from the fridge.

Just as I poured the lucky charms into her bowl, adding the milk and doing the same to my own except I had mini wheats. My phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I answered as I put the box of cereal down on the counter.

"Thanks bubba."

I nodded and put my hand on her head. "You're welcome kiddo."

"-Khan, you listening to me!"

I flinched back from the phone moving it from my ear some. "Damn man, the hell are you screaming all in my ear for?"

He smacked his lips and groaned. "Stop all the whining and listen up dude, it's important!"

I just rolled my eyes and folded my arms waiting to hear what he would say. "Alright so look, if you're really serious about staring a new career in basketball I may have the perfect opportunity for you."

That caught my attention real quick. I raised my eyebrows and nodded sitting up more. "Oh yeah, what?"

"Well I'm sure you remember how you got to play with the LA Lakers for your birthday a couple weeks back."
