Directing her fish-tailed retinue
Penelope assigns - roles, policies.
None has so far stepped on board; that this crew
cannot function is a constant unease.

tail silk-shimmering, falling like a veil

the ordeal of her loss leaving her pale.
Eyes somewhat widened, legs somewhat wobbly
she takes small steps towards Penelope
proudly she conquers the anomaly,
swiftly transforming abnormality.
Penelope greets her as a dear friend,
her welcome heartfelt, no need to pretend.
