Sorry about not keeping the pattern (poem,short story, poem) consistent. I had to write this.

YOUR WORDS

You have scarred my soul with your words,

Left paper in my heart to burn.

You should all bow down your heads in shame,

But to you this is just a silly game.

My body's bare as I lie there

Stripped to the core, looking for more.

I tried to soldier on, but I'm not a fighter,

I just held that razor tighter.

Greeting Death with open arms, 

not caring if anyone saw.

The people in this world are to blame

And I am sorry I have gone up inflame.

Please just think me gone

And keep living on.

Please just think me gone 

And you'll forget by dawn.

So please just forget I was here.

I have disappeared.

You scarred my soul with your words,

Left paper in my heart to burn. 

That burn will turn into a fire,

Which you admired.

You chopped my heart up with swords

And only with your words.
