Life V.S. Death

By- Citizen_of_hell

I didn't even meet you before your life was over.

You caught a glimpse of this wonderful world and decided it wasn't for you.

I just wish you knew before you flew.

We had all waited patiently for you

You have no clue.

We were excited but we didn't even get to sing happy birthday to you.

You have become a secret.

Like your a weakness.

I don't even know your birthday.

Much to my dismay.

I can't recall your middle name.

I'm drowning in this shame.

God had to call you home early.

He knew this wasn't a place for such a pure soul.

So he took you from us.

But the truth is, if you wouldn't have disappeared,

I wouldn't be here.

I didn't even meet you before your life was over.

But God had to call you home,

Where you would be free to roam.

Once upon a time, I didn't even get to say hello.

So rest in peace baby bro.
