War Zone

I'm stuck in this war zone
My mind has gone brain dead.
I have been betrayed by my own head.
I can't unsee the horror.
The blood that can't be unspilled
Because they were killed.
I have no one to confide in.
My mind's voice has long since gone silent.
They were so violent.
My silence is a testament of my pain
As hate reigns.
And conquers my brain.
You have killed my brain.
My tears fall like rain.
You have made me feel pain.
I cannot stop the brutality.
It is insanity.
I have been killed by humanity.
May peaceful rests be in store for the fallen
As they reside in their coffins.
They will not be forgotten.
