Time to give you the explanations and make you cry

Why... why is Yeong here?

I thought I was too late? Also, the way mum and Nari spoke about her, I was sure I've seen the last of her. This makes no sense... guess I'll have to wait for her to wake up. 

I waited for hours next to her, nothing could make me leave the room or look away for even a second. When mum came, she nearly dropped the plate with food she brought to me

"Yoongi, is that the girl?", she kneeled next to her bed and checked Yeong's temperature

"I doubt it could be anyone else", right... I don't know what exactly my mum has seen but I suppose she didn't expect to see a deceased friend laying in my bed

"Wait...", there it is, the sudden realization

"Mum, look...", where do I even begin? I'm not sure I myself know what exactly happened, but does she really need to know the whole truth? 

"I don't know how she got here and I don't think I'm ever going to be able to explain to you so it makes perfect sense. But my guess is that she's the one who helped you get back", I hoped she would tell me more details about that but she remained silent for some time

"I thought I was never going to see you again. That's why I accepted her offer, I couldn't leave my child alone and I wanted to fix that. I never thought Yeong would be the one to risk and sacrifice so much, I thought she was just one of them"

"Them? Who?"

"The Hell beings, I don't know what they were exactly but... it was frightening. Yoongi", she turned to me with tearful eyes

"I'm sorry for leaving you"

"What do you mean?", that's when she started sobbing into her palms. I got on the floor and pat her back in comfort

"I shouldn't have done it, but I wanted for the suffering to end. That's why I asked her for death", my hand dropped next to my body and I didn't know what to say. I almost lost another person... and I had no idea what was going on in their head. Even though I did my best and tried to protect her from dad, it wasn't enough...

"Please, don't blame yourself or hate me for this. I just didn't know what to do", her eyes were begging and looking for something but I gave nothing

"Promise you won't do something like that again"

"I promise", she embraced me and kissed my head. Her breathing calmed down and she stopped crying but I still didn't know how to feel about it. 

We jumped on the spot when Yeong coughed. Suddenly, her face and hands got covered with cuts and bruises. She's frowning and sweating but unable to wake up. Is this like that time when she was being hurt in dreams and it manifested in real life?

"Yeong, wake up", I shook her gently at first but panic got the best of me when she wouldn't open her eyes yet continued to grunt in pain and get more wounds. 

Finally, she weakly blinked a few times and barely kept her eyes open. I couldn't help myself but pull her in a hug. I heard the door get closed behind us and allowed myself to say a few things

"Yeong... you're here"

"Yoongi...", she murmured in my ear and returned the hug. I can't describe the feeling of hearing her say my name after so long. It's a great difference between Hana and her, it's just not the same and I can tell all the details apart. 

When she pulled away, I cupped her face and gently caressed her warm cheeks. Her eyes watered and smiled at me but I couldn't return the smile yet...
