15 days with JB...

I fell in love with you on the first day,
I played the whole day with you on the second day,
I left you alone at home so I could buy you some milk on the third day,
I allowed you to play with princess the fourth day,
I lied awake with you in the darkness in broad daylight on the fifth day,
Then we played again on the sixth day,
And on the seventh, I decided I'd bring you home.
So I bathed you and sew your clothes and we went home on the eighth day,
You were so handsome the kids at my party kept hugging you on the nineth day.
I wish I could bring you to church on the tenth day (but I couldn't)
You took another warm bath on the eleventh
And you sure enjoyed running around on the twelfth,
You somehow got accustomed to the other dogs at home on the thirteenth,
Then you learned to play outside the house on the fourteenth (so I had to prepare you another warm bath)
And on the night of that day,
You started to grow pale,
You vomitted a lot
And I didn't know what to do
Except to keep you close to me.
I woke up on the fifteenth
And you look so tired,
You look so sad,
You look so sick.

You know you brought a genuine smile in my lips,
And you healed a part of my heart
That was breaking apart (which nobody else knew, only you did)
You even softened dad's heart
(he allowed you to stay inside
Even when he didn't allow the rest to do so).
You pulled me from the dark
But now you kept going in the dark.
You created a change in me
And you made it so easy
For me to love you each day.
And if you leave me now,
Believe me,
I'll be scarred forever
And weep for you every day.

(Any dog lovers out there? You feel me? You know there's this attachment we get when we really love our dogs.)
