25) Trapped

Another lazy morning. At least, Greg wished it was. In fact it wasn't even morning, it was about 3am.

Both he and his husband Mycroft had to get up for work that day. Of course Mycroft had to get up much earlier than he did, 4am to be precise. Greg thought it unholy.

"Mycroft, it's stupid o'clock in the morning. Go back to sleep." Greg mumbled into his husbands chest.

Mycroft sighed. He'd been awake for hours and it was only another hour until he had to get up anyway. "No, I might as well just get up now. I certainly won't be getting anymore sleep between now and 4am."

"Maybe not but you can rest." Greg replied, wrapping his arms around his husband.

Mycroft gently pried Gregs hands away from him and sat up on the bed. "Just go back to sleep Gregory."

Greg would normally do just that, but not today. Today he'd had enough, England could wait at least another hour. He placed his arms firmly around Mycroft's waist. "I'll sleep if you do."

Mycroft rolled his eyes and tried to yet again remove Greg's arms. When he found that he couldn't he tried to stand and found that he couldn't do that either. He sighed defeatedly and ran a hand through his hair. "Let go of me."

"Or what?" Greg responded, a subtle smile on his face that he was glad Mycroft couldn't see.

"I'll have to make you."

"And how are you gonna do that?"

"Well I-" Ah. Mycroft hadn't thought of that. "Fine, maybe another hour in bed wouldn't be such a bad idea."

Greg smiled triumphantly to himself at that and relaxed his grip slightly to let Mycroft lay down, and to his surprise Mycroft actually did lay back down.

"You shall ruin me." Mycroft murmed softly into Greg's hair as he pulled the shorter man closer.

"I'm working on it." Greg responded, snuggling into Mycroft's chest and staying there.

Much to everyone's surprise Mycroft actually did get back to sleep. Although it is a whole lot easier to drop off when your husband is safely, and quite happily, asleep in your arms.
