Chapter 4: Were are we?

BIGBY P.O.V

I dropped my cigarette and stomped it into the ground. I looked at the girl. She heard it too. She pulled a small hatchet out of her holster and held it tight. Suddenly something jumped on me. It looked like a walking corpse. Another and another jumped on me. I fell on the ground, as they bit my shoulders and my neck. I screamed.

"Run you idiot!" I screamed at her.

CLEMENTINE P.O.V

Oh no! No no no! This can't keep happening! I pulled out my hatched and ran up to one of the walkers and stuck it into the back of its head. I tried to pull it out but it was stuck.

"Crap." I said under my breath. I finally did as he said and ran away. I think I'm just bad luck. Everyone I'm with ends up dead or undead. Wait. I stopped dead in my tracks because I realized something. When I shot him, he didn't die... So, if a walker bites him... Can he die? I looked back at the commotion and sure enough, there was a big, hairy creature ripping the walkers heads from their bodies.

JOEL P.O.V

I backed down the hallway and ran from the thing. I turned a corner and ducked into a room. I shut the door and locked it behind me. I looked around the room. It was another room that looked just like the room I appeared in. I started getting really creeped out. What is this place? I have to sit down. I stumbled over to a chair and sat down on it. Wheres ellie? I dont know. Where am I? I don't know.I don't know.

ELLIE P.O.V

When I woke up I was underneath a tree. I moaned. Whats going on? I tried to sit up but the man who was with me before pushed me back down.

"Wha-?" I asked. Then the pain caught up with me.

"OUCH! Gah- Oh my god!!" I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Im sorry, I'm just trying to fix your arm." His face was sorrow. I decided to atleast try to relax. I stared up at the sky as he fixed my broken arm. Wow. I guess when the world goes to sh** around you, you don't realize the beauty of everything. The calm sky soothed me... it made me think of everyone i've lost... All my good memories, all my bad memories. I closed my eyes. I was so tired.

"Done." He said. I slowly sat up. I winced but the pain wasnt that bad anymore. I looked at my arm, it was wrapped in dirty towels and was draped around my right shoulder.

"Thank you..." I said.

"Don't mention it." He said standing up in front of me.

"Can I ask you some questions?" He asked.

"...Sure."

LEE P.O.V

I took a deep breath.

"I looked at your arm." I said. "you're going to turn."

her eyes opened wide.

"Wait! Dont shoot me! Hear me out!"

"You're going to turn! Its going to happen!"

"I was bit, but I wont turn! The bite happened a year ago."

"Why Should I believe you?"

JODIE P.O.V

"Yeah..." I said. I sat down on a nearby couch. Snow sat next to me.

"You know what's kinda Ironic?" She said nudging me with her elbow.

"What's that?" I asked.

"This is the apartment the fables stay at." She said chuckling. Yeah I guess that was kinda Ironic.

"What's wrong?" She asked. I sighed.

"I have no clue whats going on..." I confessed. I looked at her. Her face shifted from happy to sad in a second. I think I reminded her of her friend who apparently got sucked into a portal as well.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" I was cut off.

"Dont worry..." She sighed. I continued looking at her.

"Can you tell me about him? Or, just fables in general?" I asked carefully.

"I guess,: Bigby is the man who got sucked into the portal... hes the sheriff of Fabletown. He's also the 'Big Bad Wolf' but I don't think that matters much right now... I'm Snow white, I'm pretty sure you know all about me. Im pretty much number 2 around here. All the 'Unnatural looking' fables use a potion called Glamor, it changes the way they look. Anyway we try to keep a low profile. What about you?"
