Seriously, I know they say in the movie that they run for three days and three nights, but I never realized how shitty that would be. Luckily, I'm half-elf and half-skinchanger.

Aragorn- Their pace has quickened. They must have caught our scent.

Oh, great, like I wanted to run even more. Why do orcs need to have such great noses?

Aragorn- Hurry!

I'll hurry if I want to. Wait, I do want to. I can't even be sassy right now, that is truly sad.

Legolas- Come on, Gimli!

He and Aragorn continue running but I stay closer to Gimli because I'm bored and Gimli is funny.

Gimli- Three days and nights pursuit. No food, no rest, and no sign of our quarry but what bare rock can tell!

(Y/N)- I know right? This is a really shitty situation, but if they can smell us, it means we're catching up to them!

We smile at each other as I shrug my shoulders before running after Legolas and Aragorn with Gimli. After what seems to be hours, we finally arrive where Merry left the green broche. Bless him.

Aragorn- Not idly to The Leaves of Lorien fall.

What is that even supposed to mean? I've gotten used to their way of talking, but this line just confuses me.

Legolas- They may yet be alive.

(Y/N)- There are no bones around, so they obviously left this on purpose, meaning they are alive. Get your facts right, people!

I get looked at weirdly, a normal occurrence, but I can hear Gimli chuckling from farther behind. Oh, right, I forgot him for a second.

Aragorn- Less than a day ahead of us.

They continue running and I shake my head, waiting for Gimli that somehow falls, rolling a bit.

Legolas- Come, Gimli! We're gaining on them!

Okay, that is pretty cool, but poor Gimli is dying over here! I may have an idea that could help.

Gimli- I'm wasted on cross-country! We Dwarves are natural sprinters! Very dangerous over short distances!

I wait for him to catch up and smirk.

(Y/N)- Want me to carry you?

He seems almost insulted by that, which for some reason does not surprise me!

Gimli- I have more honour than that! I will not be carried by a- AHH!

I transform into my wolf form as he rants and throw him on my back, running over to Legolas and Aragorn as he screams for dear life which is honestly the funniest thing I have seen in days. I can almost hear the music in my head as we run, making me do a small wolf smirk.

Suddenly, they stop, making me almost trip but I somehow stop in time. Gimli quickly gets off with his face as white as a sheet, and I transform back, laughing my ass off. The other two are also amused by the scene but we soon turn serious again.

(Y/N)- Rohan.

Aragorn- Home of The Horse Lords.

I cough to hide another laugh, thinking of all the jokes about this. I miss memes...

Aragorn- There's something strange at work here. Some evil gives speed to these creatures. Sets its will against us.

Yeah, maybe Sauron or Saruman? Two very dangerous magicians? Actually, Sauron is more than a magician, but that is not important. I don't understand why you seem so confused, Aragorn.
