~~Alec's POV~~

I don't remember how long I sat in the lobby waiting for someone to come out and tell me what was going on. Was Lia okay? Was she in a coma? All these questions and more ran through my head making it hard to think. When the door opened for the sixth time I just sat down in the chair calmly -knowing after everytime of jumping up when the door opening it wasnt for her -and my hopes fell even more because I didn't know if they would ever tell me if she was okay. The nurse came over to us and my hope sparked a little bit.

"Lia Danvers?" She asked.

Everyone stood up immeadiatly. Brian stepped forward in front of all of us.

"I'm her cousin, " Brian stated shakily.

The nurse's face remained the same and did not change the entire time she was talking.

"Lia will be fine. We managed to dig the arrow out and pull any remaints out as well. She has lost far too much blood so she will be a little out of it for a while.....but other than that she is fine. You can go visit her now if you'd like, " The nurse said finally smiling and walking away with the clipboard. My Lia was okay.

~~Lia's POV~~

It was dark. My eyes felt very heavy and I couldnt open them. All I could see was black. I heard very faint voices around me but I couldnt tell who they where. I tried to reach out to Alec but I felt no pull. Whatever they did to me was cutting off our connection. I tried to open my eyes again and I felt them lift a little bit. All the voices stopped when I made a groaning sound. I turned my head to the side and tried to open my eyes again. I got them halfway when they shut tight once more. I had never felt to sore. My leg was throbbing and I suddenly remembered what happened. I was shot with an arrow. Now I know why my leg was throbbing so much. I groaned again and tried to open my eyes for a third time. This time I got them open enough to see Alec sitting in a chair beside me. I smiled slightly and that made him smile.

"I hate to be a downer here but with all the comotion we've caused, we need to leave. I know you just came back to the land of the living  and everything but we cant risk being caught again," Brian said stepping towards me.

I could only nod becuase my throat felt so dry. I swallowed and it felt like sandpaper. Brian stood at the door to make sure there weren't any nurses. It was dark out so most of the night shift people wher probably in the break room. I limped silently but painfully down the hallway. When they took the silver out of my leg it healed alot faster. Limping hurt, but it was worth it to get out of here. I absolutely hated hospitals. They scared the hell outta me.

"Come on guys," Brian said holding the door open for us.

The town was prettty much deserted except for the occasional person walking down the street. The diner was lit up and alive with music blasting from its doors. We ran past it and into the trees; well I limped. Eeventually my strength gave out and I couldnt run anymore. But that was okay because we were back at the cars. I thankfully got to sit in my own car and rest for a while.

"How are you feeling?" Brian asked me later.

"Fine. I'm not as tired as I was before," I replied.

"Sorry for the really quick getaway. We just didnt want to be found again. We have to be very careful from now on. That's why we changed the lisence plates so when we drive we wouldnt be tracked. We're going to head out in a little while so rest up," Brian said stepping away.

~~Mr.Scar's POV~~

"Yes! So you got her?" Claire asked me excitedly.

I sighed, "No not exactly. They got away again. I had some of their friends surrounded and they took off into the woods. Then about a day later we ambushed them in the trees. There where too many but I managed to shoot Lia with an arrow. We did get one though, Chase Wilde. I'm thinking of making him part of my team."

"I dont care about that you idiot! I want my daughter. Her birthday is in 4 weeks and if she is still with them then that will be the last time I see her!" Claire yelled.

"You'll still be able to watch her and keep an eye on her, Claire. You and Robert both will. I can't believe I'm saying this but can we give the wolves a break for a while. Let them gather and weaken and just when they think they're safe..attack them?" I suggested.

   Claire thought this over.

"Alright. Be you must promise me that no matter what happes my daughter will be alive when you bring her to me," She said standing to face me.

"I give you my word. As long as you keep your promise to let me keep Lia," I said to her stepping out of the room.

 ~~Lia's POV~~

We where driving thorugh the town we had just run out of when Alec told me to get down.

"If they cant see you then they wont do anything," He said.

I didnt object becuase in a small town like this, hearing that severly injured patient walked out of a hospital is big news. I crouched down in my seat until Alec told me it was safe to get up.

"So where are we going?' I asked Brian who was driving.

"Well I was planning on taking you to my place just so we can hide, but I decided something else. This probably wont be the best plan but we need to ditch the cars for a while. If we run in wolf form all over and get our sent mixed up, the Hunters will have a hard time deciding which way to go," Brian said pulling over.

We had only been driving for 2 hours but it was alot safer. We all shifted into wolf form and started running. We where running so fast that if we where in our human form we would have hit several trees by now. Alec, Derek, Shane and I weren't paying attention as usual and slowed down some, only to run right into another town. There where people with camera's and tourists taking pictures when we came out. Several people ran screaming but we just bounded back into the woods. Today was not our lucky day.

"Well.., " Brian said after shifting back, "I think maybe we sould stay at my place."

We all nodded in agreement and ran- a little more slowly- towards Brian's place.
