Hermione smiled at her swollen stomach, her hand rubbing over it. She picked up her cup and saucer and drunk the warm, brown tinted tea. She gapsed as she loved the taste. She hummed to herself and pulled out her book, reading the old worn pages, when suddenly Hermione felt a hand on her shoulder. She jumped 'Oh no more tea please-'
'Hello, Granger' Those two words made Hermione drop her cup, it smashed on the floor. She jumped to her feet, her hand covering her mouth. 'Draco!' She screamed grabbing onto him, her hands perfectly fitting around his neck. She felt the tears pour down her cheeks. 'W-what are...what?'
He smirked and took her hand, walking her back to her seat. He sat opposite, opened his mouth to speak then noticed her stomach 'Wow you...you're'
'Pregnant' Hermione said, staring up into the blue, cloudless sky 'Yep'
Draco was speachless, 'I...I expected you to be-'
'Alone? Not pregnant?' She smiled 'Well you are wrong, I'm not alone...you know why? Because this baby has a father, and you are a brilliant man, and I know you will be here to show our son that'. Draco's jaw dropped 'H-he is m-mine?'. Hermione laughed and nodded. Draco smiled and grabbed Hermione's cheeks, pulling her lips to his, kissing her, passionatley.
She pulled away and breathed on his lips 'And Harry?'
'He is fine, so is Ginny and baby James' Hermione grinned and smiled, ear to ear. She hadn' been so happy for months.
Draco stood up, opened his arm for Hermione and she took it, and together they walked away from all the pain, the blood that had been spilt. They were free, it was all over. Finally, they could walk away and never return to the terror. Hermione leaned her head on Draco's shoulder 'I always loved you, Draco' he smiled and kissed her head 'I will love you forever, Hermione'.
And so, they walked away, they could finally live their dream. They could finally have their happy ever after...
