"How're you feeling this morning, hyung?"

I smile over to the three boys who've entered the pastry shop before opening.

"I'm okay, guys. You really don't need to worry so much about me." I answer lightly before slipping a tray into one of the ovens.

"We're always going to worry about you, hyung." Tae chuckles as he comes in back with Jimin, both boys grabbing their aprons to get started.

"Did you talk with your brother last night?" Jungkook asks gently as he sits down at the first table. I take a deep breath at the question, nodding my head.

"What happened?" Jimin asks with a small frown as he and Tae begin glancing between the two of us.

"Are you gonna let him go now?" Jungkook continues, ignoring the two older boys. I sigh, setting my tray of finished pastries into the display case for the day.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna let him go and move on from Joon. I can't keep letting him break me." I breathe out, running a hand through my hair.

Within seconds, I'm engulfed into a mini group hug from the three boys. I giggle at the affection from the three, unbelievably grateful to all of them. To all of my friends for that matter.

"We're here for you if you ever need us. Okay, hyung? You're not alone." Tae murmurs gently as they all carefully let go. I smile around at the three of them, nodding in response.

"Thank you, guys. Honestly. I don't know what I would do without all of you." I tell them quietly. All three of them reach out to mess with my hair, causing me to scrunch my nose up as I giggle at the feeling.

"I'm sure you'll find someone better soon, hyung. You deserve so much better. You know you'll always have us no matter what though." Jimin speaks up softly with a small smile on his own face. I smile in return, running a hand through my hair.

"Thanks, Jiminie." I mumble softly before moving to get back to work. Jimin and Tae follow suit while Jungkook returns to his seat on the other side of the counter.

"Oh, I had a favor I wanted to ask you guy." I speak up after a short while of quietness.

"We're all ears, hyung." Jungkook replies with a smile from where he'd been sitting playing on his phone.

"My brother and father are coming up Saturday afternoon. I was hoping one of you could possibly cover for me. It'd only be like twenty minutes, but they wanted to come see me and I can't just say no to my brother." I explain shyly, setting down the last tray in the display case before looking over to the other three.

"I can cover for you, hyung. Take all the time you need with them. We know you don't get to see your brother often, and I don't think I even remember the last time you saw your father." Jimin offers with a small smile. I grin at him, quickly pulling him into a hug.

"Thank you so much, Jiminie. I really haven't seen my father in a long time. I promise, it should only be about twenty minutes. My brother knows how busy I am." I whisper before pulling away. Jimin giggles at this, shaking his head.

"I mean it, Yoongi. Give yourself an actual break for once. Relax and hang out with your brother and dad for a bit. Just don't be over an hour unless I'm getting paid for that hour." He teases with a wink at the end.

"I'm already planning on paying you overtime for covering for me, Jiminie. I'm serious, this means a lot." I respond with a small smile. His eyes widen and the other two boys whine.

"Why can't we get paid overtime! We wanna cover for you too!" Tae argues, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting like a little kid. I chuckle at this, shaking my head.

"When the two of you can find two places in here that'll pay your part time hours better than I do, we can talk about me raising each one of your pays. Until then, quit your complaining." I joke, walking around the two younger boys to begin frosting the cupcakes for the morning.

"Fuck that. That's way too much work and I know how well I get paid." Jungkook scoffs, leaning back in his seat. Jimin and I both burst into a fit of giggles, shaking our heads at the youngest.

"At least someone appreciates how well I pay them." I mutter with a small eye roll as I mix the frosting mix a bit more before moving it into a piping bag.
