"'m so hungover i think i might be dying"victoria rolled onto her front and pressed her face into the soft pillows. as funny as she found luke's complaint, she also felt like death. the two usually weren't that bad the morning after drinking however a full night of mixing any alcoholic beverage they had access to hadn't been their best move.
vic was shaking despite not being cold, a headache pulsing at the front of her head.
"i swear i'm still a bit drunk"
luke turned his head to the right to look at her, arms folded behind his neck. victoria shuffled closer to him and threw her arm over his stomach. it was going to be a day of doing nothing for the pair.
"still look ten out of ten even with a hangover" luke had a lazy grin on his face taking in the sight of victoria.
"you need to start wearing glasses"
"my vision is perfect"
victoria raised her eyebrows at his lie. she knew she definitely did not look her best right now. she could feel that there was still dried out makeup on her face and it most definitely wasn't looking how it did when first applied.
"wonder how everyone else is feeling" vic mused feeling around the bedside table blindly for her phone that she had somehow managed to plug in before bed.
she hoped everyone that had been there last night was feeling the effects. if she was going to suffer she didn't want to be alone.
"y'know i'm pretty sure i saw mel going into the same room as cal last night"
this was news to vic.
it wouldn't surprise her that much if they'd slept together. calum was exactly melissa's type from personality to looks. they'd hit it off pretty well when they were sat outside together as well.
vic had a few instagram notifications and a text from her best friend.
you up yet? i need food and i have a fun fact
"they one hundred percent fucked. she's texted me"
"oh god, is that a good thing or not?"
vic rolled back over to sit up in the bed. she leaned against the headboard and sunk her fingers into luke's messy hair.
"no idea. she knows what she's doing so we'll just have to see how it plays out"
victoria replied to mel saying she'd be down shortly. she needed a few more minutes to properly wake up.
"hey i like your friends, they're a nice bunch. you all seem very different, lots of personalities in the group"
"that's why we all get on so well. if we were all similar we'd clash"
"well i'm glad i've finally met them, hope they liked me"
"everyone likes you lu don't worry about that"
victoria wasn't lying. she had never known anyone to dislike him apart from mel and even that had changed now.
they sat enjoying the quiet for a while before vic decided on a shower to try and make herself feel slightly more human. she grabbed a clean pair of panties and headed to the en-suite, not bothering to close the door as she stripped down. luke didn't even take notice of her naked body as he let his eyes close again.
by the time vic was finished luke was snoring again so she got dressed in a clean t-shirt and cycling shorts then headed downstairs. she shuffled into the kitchen in her sliders and one of luke's hoodies to keep warm.
