I walked into the art studio, Trixie was sitting on one of the pink chairs from her music room and she was wearing pink stockings and nothing else, she had her light pink acoustic guitar against her chest covering her gorgeous boobs,
"Holy shit baby" I could barely get the words out, I noticed and easel set up with a canvas in front of trixie, I right away sat down on the stool and began sketching the image in front of me, I right away dived into painting and trixie began playing a song on her guitar, I stopped for a moment and looked at her as she began to sing
"Judy never asked her for forever
Judy never asked her for the moon
Judy knew that loving her was better
And no one knew her heart like Judy
Judy's never mentioned in the papers
Judy's never noted in the news
Judy knew that loving her was safer
Loving from the red side of the moon"
Tears filled my eyes as I continued painting, the beautiful song providing a soundtrack
"Loving you from the red side of the moon
Loving her was funnier than a Saturday cartoon
Someday is a story and it's the one I'm sticking to
Loving from the red side of the moon
Judy grew up stepping right beside her
Loved her from the cover of the crowds
Judy's heart was beating right beside her
Even with the music loud and
Judy's never minded all the waiting
Judy never thought to watch the clock
Judy knew that loving's in the patience
When the red side of the moon is what we've got"
I looked at trixie again, the absolute truth to that verse was beautiful, and yet it was ironic because when she wrote this song she didn't know the person leaving her notes was me.
"Loving you from the red side of the moon
Loving her was easier than a Kristofferson tune
Someday is a story and it's the one I'm sticking to
Loving from the red side of the moon
Judy left her best days in Chicago
Judy had her worst days in the rain
Middle of the winter with so far to go
And she couldn't keep on hitching to that train
And she still listens to the radio
Late night after midnight she tunes in
Sings along to songs and every word she knows
Remembering when the moon was burning red
Loving you from the red side of the moon
Loving her was heavier than a leaded red balloon
Someday is a story and it's the one I'm sticking to
Loving from the red side of the moon"
I put everything I had into capturing the moment within the oil paints on canvas, my mind was completely focused, Trixie stayed where she was and both of us had tears running down our cheeks, I'd never believed in love at first sight until I saw trixie under the bleachers, I never believed in soulmates until I talked to trixie and knowing she was mine, she is my soulmate, we were put on earth to find each other I'm sure of it, I have been in love before but it took months to say 'I love you' , with trixie 'I love you' was all I could say to express what I felt, she was so perfect and we just go together like a 2 piece jigsaw puzzle all we need is each other and we are complete.
About half an hour passed and I had everything I needed to continue the painting, trixie didn't need to sit there anymore because the picture was burned into my mind
"Come here"
Trixie got up and set the guitar down and walked over to me, she sat on my lap and I wrapped one arm around her waist while I continued painting, she watched with fascination as I placed and blended colours making the painting come to life, another half hour passed and I decided it was good enough to take a break and eat
