Aditya woke up early that morning and saw Zoya sleeping peacefully next to him. He looked at her and thought "I love you so much Zoya. When will I be able to say that to you ? I don't think I will be able to live without you. I just wish my insecurities stop creeping up. I know you wont ever do anything to hurt me, but I am scared." He rubbed his face with his palm and then caressed her hair and went to get dressed.
At the breakfast table , he and Zoya were together and then Zoya said "Aditya, hum na thoda jaldi niklenge. Toh aap humare bina hi nikal jaiye. Darasal humko Sahir ke ghar jaake unko saman dena hai, aise basic necessities. Unko pata nhi hai yahan pe kahan kya milta hai toh hum hi unke liye leke ja rhe hai. Hum aapko hospital mein milenge. Bye."
With that she picked up the casserole which had the mutton, a bag of stuff and left.
Aditya watched her leave and without his control , had a flashback.
Flashback
Pooja was talking to Aditya on the phone. She said "Adi, Yash bohot odd behave karta hai aaj kal."
Aditya said "Kya hua ab di?"
She said "Aajkal roz subah voh jaldi nikal jata hai, apni uss dost se milne. Pehle toh hum saath mein office jaate the , ab voh uske saath office aata hai, lunch karta hai and I meet him only during dinner time. Adi, mujhe kuch acha nhi lag rha hai. Pata nhi why I feel.... i don't know ... how I feel. I just feel weird."
Aditya said "Di, do mahine ki baat hai phir toh voh ladki chali jayegi. Tab aap dekhna sab theek ho jayega. Yash probably wants to spend time with her as he would not be meeting her for years after this. Aap befaltu ki tension mat lo. Aap ek kaam karo aap ghar aa jao hum bahar chalte hai.
Pooja said "Hmm. I hope jaisa tu keh rha hai vohi ho aur kuch nhi."
Aditya said "Aur kuch kya di?"
Pooja said "I dont want to say this , but sometimes I feel he loves her. I think he just doesn't like spending time with me anymore. I am scared yaar."
Aditya said "Kya bakwaas kar rhe ho aap. Yash will never betray you. You are his best friend and his soul mate."
Pooja said "Maybe. Main vahan aati hoon, I will feel better."
Flashback ends.
Aditya played with the last piece of toast he had and then left for work with a restless mind.
At lunch break , he went into Zoya's cubicle and saw Sahir already sitting there,laughing with her and playfully punching her on the arm. Adi thought " I love that smile , but I am the one who is supposed to make you this happy. Why do you have to look so happy with him?". His face was turning sour and he was liking Sahir lesser by the minute.
He cleared his throat and both of them looked up and Zoya said "Are Aditya , aap aa gye. I was just telling Sahir about the time when you saw the fake gun in my hand."
Aditya said "Oh nice. Acha, ab khana khaye. I dont have the whole day you know."
Zoya senses the harshness of his tone but said nothing. She said "Haan hum abhi dete hai."
Sahir said "Aapko pata hai yeh fake gun ka idea maine hi diya tha Zoya ko. Mujhe nhi pata tha voh implement bhi kar legi iss idea ko."
Aditya said "Aapko toh kaafi kuch nhi pata hai lagta hai."
Sahir was a bit taken aback by his rude behaviour but chose not to respond. Zoya served them.
