~.: Nightwing's POV :.~

I couldn't do anything about their decision as they continued to force the little girl into using her weird abilities on Wally and Jason. Gritting my teeth against their agonized groans, I tried to focus on picking my handcuffs. I couldn't help but chuckle softly in amusement as I successfully picked the lock on my cuffs. Amateurs... They forgot that even though I don't have powers, I can't still pick locks just like any other detective. Terra, Red X, and Yani are all focused on the child, but Tim caught my gaze and looks skeptical as I shake my head at him to stay quiet and not draw any attention to us. He nodded, narrowing his eyes as I brought my legs closer to my body before moving my freed hands to the cuffs encircling my ankles.
I'll get us out of here, I promise, guys...
"What do you think you're doing, birdy?~" I glanced up in mild panic, wondering if one of Deathstroke's henchmen had finally caught me, but as I looked over at them, I realized that Yani had taken to interrogating Tim who was straining against his own bindings, "Poor boy wonder~ Don't struggle or you'll hurt yourself~" She reached out with a hand to stroke his cheek and he grimaced, narrowing his eyes at her.
"Don't touch me," he growled softly at her, jerking his chin away from her touch, "What you are all making that kid do is extremely wrong- she clearly doesn't have control of those powers, and it's not right of you all to force her to use whatever ability she has on others for bad things." I smirked in amusement as Yani rolled her eyes at his statement. She took the bait. Keep her busy, I'm almost done picking this last cuff... I thought quietly to myself, going back to finishing off the handcuffs around my handcuffs. Wally's and Jason's pained cries abruptly cut off as my last hand cuff clicked open and Terra snarled in frustration at the small kid who clearly was exhausted past her limit from using her abilities for such a prolonged period of time. Part of me felt sorry for the kid as I quietly observed the scene.
"You're weak!! I shouldn't have even agreed to try to mentor you with Yani," Terra seethed, shoving the little girl in annoyance which causes her to fall to the ground with a soft whimper, "I don't even understand why Deathstroke wanted to use you against Nightwing. If you can't kill these two idiots, how could you possible kill him?" My gaze widened at the sound of that and I glanced worriedly at the small child. Why would Deathstroke make a child do this sort of thing? It doesn't seem like him...
"Leave the kid alone..." Jared suddenly growled from his corner of the room, drawing Terra's and Yani's attention to him, "You can't take your frustration out on that little kid. She's doing her best and your criticism is only making her more unstable, leave her alone-" Red X looked thoughtful for a moment as he helped the child off the floor.
"Maybe we should cut Allysa some slack..." he muttered, examining her exhausted stature while I stiffened at the mention of my lost daughter's name, That's Allysa?! She's been with these morons this entire time?! I couldn't suppress a wave of frustration as I thought of Acacia handing out child off to any of these guys. You've got a poor sense of judgement if you thought Allysa was safer with this kind of crowd to watch over her...
"She's not doing too hot..." As if further frustrated, Terra spun on Rex X, nudging him away from the kid.
"What do you know? You're not her mentor," She growled irritably, "I'm her primary mentor and I say that she just needs more motivation..." she narrowed her eyes in my direction as I tensed in preparation, completely freed from my restraints.
"Allysa..." Terra glared as I spoke to the child, "Ally... you don't have to be like them... I know you don't know me, but I feel like you need my help. I want you to know that everything is going to be okay-"
The door to the room flies open as I say those words and I looked up to see Deathstroke in the doorway, glaring at Alyssa with disapproval.
"How touching," he rasped in a voice that was deeper than Batman's as I scowled in irritation at him, "Unfortunate that she'll have to watch her own father be slaughtered in front of her."
"You won't kill me," I chuckled softly in disbelief, making a good attempt at trying to look like I was still trapped in my handcuffs as he approaches me with a menacing glint in his eyes.
"Perhaps you're right," He growled softly before yanking me off the ground by my collar to face him, "Perhaps you're wrong; all the same, though, I always get what I want," I rolled my eyes at him and he tossed me back to the ground in disgust.
"You're not getting your way this time," I huffed, standing upright. He merely scoffs in disinterest at seeing that I got out of my handcuffs.
