~.: De's POV :.~
"Wally, I swear to god, I'm gonna beat your face in," I growled, face palming myself at how long Wally was taking even after I shouted his name twice before while Aria was crying in pain as she rocked herself back and forth, "What the hell is taking him so long?" I gave Aria a comforting hug which she wailed in agony in response at, shaking violently.
"Wally!!" Aria wailed as I hesitated to get up. Should I get up to fetch him? She's shaking really bad. What if she passes out? As she wailed again in pain, I caught sight of a small bloodstain forming between her legs and instantly thrust my doubtful thoughts to the back of my mind. She's bleeding!!
"WEST, ARIA IS BLEEDING," I cried out in a panicked tone of voice, rubbing circles into Aria's back, "HURRY UP IN THERE!!" When no response comes from Wally, a flood of irritation overtakes my thoughts. It doesn't take that long to get a glass of water for somebody. Seriously, what the fuck.
Hurriedly, I jumped off of the couch and rushed toward the kitchen where Riley is apparently forcing kisses against Wally's lips, her hands on his chest despite him obviously trying to push her off of him. Agitation and shock fight against my senses as I storm toward them, yanking the blonde girl away from Wally and pinning her to the fridge as he catches his breath, running a hand through his hair bewilderingly.
"Don't just stand there, idiot," I snapped irritably, glaring at Riley while she eyed him up and down as she swiped her tongue around her lips, "Aria started bleeding and she needs you right now," Wally's eyes widened to the size of porcelain saucers and he rushes toward the living room, the glass of ice water sitting on the counter forgotten, "As for you," I growled softly, turning my gaze back to Riley who is merely smirking confidently, "Back off my best friend's fiancé. If you screw with their relationship one more time, I'm gonna have to rearrange that stupid face of yours..." I step away from her, releasing my hold on her so she can stand freely. She brushes her hair out of her eyes, batting her eyes at me as she smirks mischievously in reply.
"As if you could ever do something like that, small fry," She counters, stalking forward so that I'm pinned against the kitchen island in the middle of the dining room, "Cute though, for you to have the guts to threaten someone taller than you~" As she leans threateningly closer to me, I shakily flinch away and push her off of me.
"Go mess with somebody else or make yourself useful for once!" I nervously snapped, glaring at her as I turned to leave the room while she pulls out a handheld mirror to check her reflection. It felt like millions of fire ants were crawling up my spine as I rushed out of the dining room away from Riley. Does she only find entertainment in trying to wreck relationships? Seriously what is her de- My aggravated state of mind is shattered as I run smack into somebody's chest, "Ow..." I grumbled softly, looking up to see Dick looking past me into the kitchen. Riley steps out of the room, walking past him as Jared opens his bedroom door down the hall with a Acacia at his side.
"What's going on? I heard you yelling at somebody," Dick finally asked me in a worried tone of voice, pulling me close and kissing my forehead, "Are you okay?" I sighed, relaxing against him and lift my head to kiss his lips in a reassurance.
"I'm fine... Riley was causing drama," As Dick raises an eyebrow disapprovingly at the news, I quickly attempted to assure him and get him focused on Aria's condition as another shrill wail sounds from the living room, "But I handled it. That's not important right now, though- Aria has started bleeding-" I grab his arm and drag him into the living room where Wally is attempting to comfort Aria on the couch. Seeing the sight of the blood and the pained expression on Aria's face as she weakly lifted her head to look at us, Dick freezes in his steps, eyes wide and alarmed like that of a deer's when the animal is about to be hit by a car. Anxious, I slipped my hand into his and I felt how badly he was starting to tremble as he attempted to approach his sister who groans softly in pain and doubles over in Wally's embrace.
"Aria..." Dick manages to say in a soft strangled tone, sitting beside her and rubbing circles into her back, "What happened while I was in the other room?" He demanded as turned his gaze to me, narrowed in mingled fear and anger. I take his hands in mine as Wally attempts to get Aria to sit up again.
Hesitantly, I sit in the floor in front of Dick, facing him as I rest my head against his knee while keeping my eyes on his sister, "I.... I think Aria just had a miscarriage..." Dick tenses against me and his hands tighten slightly around my own.
"That- That can't be what happened-" He murmured, Wally managing to convince Aria to let him help her wash the blood off of her, "For that to be true, Blake would have had to have gotten Aria pregnant... He couldn't have possibly-" I gave him a look that must've touched a nerve and he pulls his hands away from mine to bury his face in them, "I'm such an idiot..." he growled angrily, digging his fingers in his hair frustratedly as Wally and his sister leave the room to get the blood washed off. I frowned in concern at Dick, taking his hands away from his face and making him look me in the eyes as I took his hands in mine once more.
"Dick, it's not your fault," I murmured gently, leaning my forehead against his as he closes his eyes in disbelief, "It's Blake's. I think it's time that we push rape charges against him. This time we can actually do something about it. I know that Aria isn't gonna be very happy about it, but she's my best friend and Blake just hurt her beyond all belief. I want him to suffer beyond bars, Dick. And since Aria refuses to go to court to file the report," Dick looks up at me, pursing his lips in worry, "I want to do it myself. I was an eyewitness and I saw the whole incident. So my word should be just as good as hers," He reaches up a hand to stroke my cheek, our gazed searching each other for a moment in silence.
"....alright. I'll take you to the station tomorrow morning when I leave for work. Blake deserves to rot in jail because of this," Dick finally growls, glaring at the ground before running his free hand stressfully through his hair and standing up to lead us to our bedroom, "For now, we need to get to bed. We'll never wake up in the morning if we're going to court," I nodded, managing a weak amused laugh as we head toward our bedroom.
