Aria's P.O.V
I groaned as my eyes fluttered open De was laying across from me on grass, and the sky was dark. I slowly pushed myself off the ground and looked around only to find Lexie on my other side, but no Wally and no Amelia. What the hell? Where am I? What is this place, are we in the woods or something? My head pounded harder as I placed my hand against it, resting on my knees as Lexie and De both decided to join me in the weird wooded area.
"Wha-Where am I?" Lexie yelped, pushing herself across the grass and into a tree.
I glanced over at her as fear covered her face, she grabbed into the ground and looked in a million different directions at one time. I sighed crawling over to her as De joined in with the same questions.
"Do you guys know how we got here?" I asked, taking Lexie and De by the hand, "And where are the others, if they are even here."
"I think we are the only ones, but how did we get here? Where is here?" De asked, pulling up from the ground, letting go of my hand in the process.
"Some kind of woods, but I don't know where." I added, pulling Lexie up from leaning against the tree, "But all woods lead somewhere and out somewhere is out of this hell of a place. I don't do bugs or-"
"You don't do nature period Aria." De laughed, starting out into the woods.
"Whoa whoa...You guys aren't serious right? Y'all want to go explore these woods that we don't anything about?" Lexie asked, grabbing both me and De by the arm.
"Well how else do you suppose we get out of here Lex?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest in annoyance.
"Easy Aria..She's scared ok, we all are." De stepped in, side hugging Lexie.
"I get that, but we all be less freaked out if we just leave." I groaned, rolling my eyes at Lexie, I started walking ahead of them while De coached Lexie into following so we could actually get out of here.
As we all walked through the woods the temperature kept dropping, things snapped around us and weird noises would randomly happen causing us all to jump, we were looking for the others but also a way out. I couldn't help but hear Wally's voice.
"Wally?" I mumbled, stopping dead in my tracks.
"Aria? What are you doing? We have to keep moving.
"It's...Wally." I whimpered, his voice rang in my ears again.
"Aria.."
I jerked my head around only to see empty woods behind me, the wind blew around us all once again as Wally's voice was louder. I got blasted into a tree and fell to the ground gasping for air.
"Aria!" De and Lexie yelled out, running over to me.
"I never loved you Aria, you were just my pretty little toy, just something pretty for me to mess around with. I've always loved Artemis."
"Wha...What.." I swallowed hard, looking around the woods for my speedy ginger, "Wally you don't mean that..."
"Aria? What are you talking about?" Lexie asked, brushing the dirt off my face.
"Just my little Toy baby Grayson. Where do you think I am on my night missions..."
Tears streamed down my face as I yanked away from De and Lexie, both of them calling after me as I dashed through the woods uncontrollably sobbing, yelping as I tripped over a huge root in the ground. "You...why can't I see you...Why do you love Her." I cried, burying my face in the ground.
