My blood had turned to ice as the footage cut out and shut off. Addison and Aria had gone missing, and their kidnapper was someone that apparently knew Addison from her past. Wally was curling his fists tightly and his jaw was clenching in anger, terrified for Aria's well-being. M'Gann looked away from us, pursing her lips thoughtfully in silence.
"We'll call Dick about them, then we need to focus on rescuing De." With that, she pulls out her communicator and pages Nightwing.
"How's the mission going?" He inquires, one eyebrow raised at us.
"We haven't made much progress just yet, but we just received footage of Addison and Aria getting kidnapped..." M'Gann began, running a hand through her short brunette hair.
"Wait, what? That's impossible, Aria and Addison were just here with me," Dick responds, then we hear a rustling as he runs to check, communicator in hand, "How the- oh my god. Okay, I'm sending out another rescue team. Thank you for the update."
Before we can say anything else, he hangs up and Wally growls impatiently.
"I'm not waiting around for someone else to save Aria. She's my girlfriend and I promised to protect her!" He attempts to turn around in the direction of the hideout, but M'Gann grabbed his shoulder.
"We need to focus on one thing at a time, Kid Flash," she scolded him, her dark green eyes meeting his, "I know you're scared, but Dick and the others will make sure that Aria is safe. Now, can we go back to focusing on saving Spade?"
Wally and I begrudgingly nodded, unhappy with the fact that we wouldn't be participating in the rescue mission that was going to be in charge of finding our girlfriends.
Worry flared in my stomach and I gritted my teeth, shaking it off. M'Gann was right. Save Spade and let the other rescue team handle things from here...
Please be safe, Addy... I thought quietly to myself as we got back on track.

It hadn't taken long for us to get a location on De's tracking device. In fact, it had taken even less time to rescue her due to the fact that it seemed like the people who'd kidnapped her weren't even around when we infiltrated their base.
De had been relatively unharmed, aside from a few bruises here and there. She'd been roughed up a little, but other than that she seemed fine. As we led her back to the hideout, she kept rambling about someone named Red X working with Deathstroke, and how they'd kidnapped her as part of a plot to lure Nightwing into some sort of trap they'd set for him.
"I knew there had to be a reason why you had to have been targeted," I murmured, narrowing my eyes as we headed into the hideout, "I'm glad I told Dick to stay behind on this mission, there's no telling what Deathstroke would have done if his plan had gone accordingly..."
"I don't even want to think about it," De huffed softly, "What's more concerning is the fact that I was just sitting in a room while my kidnappers hadn't even been in the vicinity. Why didn't they attack you guys when they had more than enough time to do so?" I couldn't bring myself to focus on that question as I brushed past her and M'Gann to report to Nightwing.
"The rescue was a success but the kidnappers were nowhere to be seen when we arrived," I began, "They didn't even bother to intervene, which is strange," As I was reporting to Dick, De slips into the room and reunites with him by wrapping her arms around him to which he responds with a kiss to her forehead.
"But aside from that, have Aria and Addison been found yet?" I pointedly demanded, Wally and M'Gann suddenly at my side.
Nightwing runs a hand through his jet black hair, shaking his head.
"I haven't received any word about them yet," he admitted, turning to the computer nearby to reveal the location of where the rescue team currently was.
"I'm going out there then," Wally suddenly states and none of us has the chance to interfere before he zooms out of the room.
"I wish he would just listen for once..." De murmured softly, slipping a hand into one of Nightwing's.
"He's been that way for years, it's nothing new," I blatantly replied, shrugging, "Although I cant say I blame him... I'm really worried about Addison and I just, I don't like this Zedd guy... he was hurting her in the footage," My fists clenched tightly while remembering the pained cries of my girlfriend at the hands of her attacker.
"I don't understand why he'd take Aria or why he'd take Addison, but I promise we'll find them," De attempted to comfort me, but I shrugged her off.
"Don't make promises you can't keep," I muttered softly, then after a moment, I turned away, "I'm going after Wally."*****
