Octavia's P.O.V
My heart raced in my chest in my chest, I could hear Jason walking towards me. I didn't know if I should run away and try to hide again, or if I should just accept my fate and let him find me. There was no possible way I was going to be able to run from him all night though, he was smarter then he let off to be.
"Come on now, I don't have all night sweet cheeks." Jason groaned, letting off another round into the sky.
"Ok...Ok!" I yelled, stepping out from behind the trees.
"You put up a good little run, but I don't enjoy the chase when you just hide in obvious spots." He rolled his eyes, pulling his gun to point directly at me.
"No place is worth living if you aren't here in your normal state." I whimpered, closing my eyes as tears slowly fell down my cheek.
"Aww, don't cry. It will only hurt for a second." He grinned, his finger going for the trigger just as he was tackled to the ground.
I opened my eyes at the loud thud and groans from the ground, my brother Tim had tackled Jason and he was struggling to pin him to the ground. "Run Octavia! Go!" He yelled, growling as Jason threw him off and let off a shot that hit beside my foot.
Thank batman for baby brothers, but please keep him safe!
Aria's P.O.V
I breathed heavily as I rested behind a bush beside the lake, my legs had run a complete circle in the process of getting away from whatever kind of dog that was. I hadn't seen any sight of Lexie, or De at this point though. The last time I saw either of them was right before those huge dogs had come out at us, and Lexie was apparently seeing her dead brother but it was so surreal to her.
"Aria. How you doing?" A female voice I knew like no other sounded from beside me, Artemis.
"Go away blondie, you've been after my man since the beginning and he actually chose you. I don't know why, but he did. No need to gloat." I grumbled, pulling a leaf out of my hair.
"I live for gloating little Grayson." Artemis grinned, the sound of crunching leaves meant she was coming towards me
"Yea, well I don't want to hear about it. Ok? I just don't know why he picked you..over me." I sniffled, wiping a tear from my eye.
"Because you're you Aria. You are to much for him to handle, and always need a hero."
"I don't always need one, I'm fine on my own." I snapped, kicking away a stick in anger.
"You do always need help Aria. Artemis is different, she understands me and she's amazing in bed." Wally added, coming up and putting an arm around Artemis.
I looked up with tears streaming down my face, I tried to force them to stop but they kept flowing. He was actually in front of me, his arm around the blonde hoe from when I was 14. "Wally..I don't understand."
"You were just another piece of ass for me to enjoy. Really think I was going to let Blake have all the glory?" Wally chuckled, kissing the top of Artemis's head.
"Just go away Wally...Go enjoy your life with Artemis." I sobbed, taking my ring off my finger and chucking it at him.
"Thanks, I can get money back for this." He shrugged.
"Don't sell it Walls, let her keep it for the memory of you."
I shook my head and looked away avoiding looking at them as they walked past me and placed my engagement ring from the man that once loved me beside me on the ground. I glanced over at it only to start crying even more, I couldn't not keep it. I still loved him with every piece of me. I let out a heavy sigh and looked over at the river, you were suicidal before Aria, you just couldn't go through. Maybe now you can. I wiped my eyes and took off towards the lake, diving straight into the cold deep water, slight splashing around me to help Keep myself above water.
"Maybe I will succeed now."
I closed the ring in my hand as I held it close to my heart, my eyes closed shut, tears still streaming down my face. "I'll love you forever." I whimpered, pulling myself below the chilled water.
Lexie's P.O.V
I screamed in horror as the big mutt pinned me to the ground, teeth snapping at face with drool oozing from the sides of its mouth. My eyes widened at how I could feel the hot breath of this rabid dog in my face, I swallowed hard and squeezed my eyes shut to prepare for the worst, but the snarling and snapping had stopped.
"Wha-" I looked around the woods for this big dog that couldn't have just disappeared.
"Your welcome." Jesse smiled, leaning against one of the trees.
"For what?" I groaned, pushing up from the ground.
"Saving your life."
"I can live without you saving me thank you. Just leave me alone ok?"
"Leave her alone Jesse." Ryan stepped in from behind another tree.
"R..Ryan?" I sobbed, running up and throwing myself around him, "Your not the dead you. Your you!"
"You killed me Lexie..." Ryan sighed, pulling me away from him.
I let out another scream as a bloodied Ryan stood in front of me. Why is this happening to me! "Ryan. I didn't known! I'm sorry!"
"You should have been the one to die Lexie, or your little friend Aria. Not me."
"Ryan!" I cried, falling to my knees and breaking down.
Justin's P.O.V
I smiled as I looked over at the knocked out Octavia, the plan that joker and I had planned out for months was actually working. More then half the young justice team were trapped inside of a never ending nightmare of their own personal fears.
"Don't wake them anytime soon, we are missing a few members." Joker annoyingly came to the monitor set up to see how things were going.
"The blonde cop and SuperMans clone. I couldn't get close enough to them to learn anything, and the little short speedy..Well he was irrelevant." I rolled my eyes, leaning against the system.
Riley's P.O.V
"What are we going to do? We can't reach Dick and the others." I paced back and forth in the dark room of mine while Connor sat on the bed.
"I..I'm not sure." He sighed in response, looking at the floor.
"What if whoever did this comes after us? Then what? We've never seen this before." I could feel my breathing speeding up. Panic attack, not now.
"Hey, calm down Riles." He soothed, coming up to hold me in his embrace.
"I'm scared for them..I'm scared for us."
