I was finally at home and lying in bed. No trouble at all. Cole was fast asleep. I couldn't sleep. I got up and went to my attached bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror.

I saw my mothers face and the words she had said to me ran through my head. I shook my head and took off my long sleeve shirt which left me in a sports bra.

I unwrapped the gals around my gun shot wound and threw them away. I grabbed the first aid kit under the sink when Cole walked in.

"You weren't in bed. Is everything alright?" He asked tiredly. "I couldn't sleep so I am cleaning my wound since it needs it." I said quietly. He walked in and grabbed the first aid kit from me.

"No, Cole. Go back to bed. I got it." I said. "I'll do it. It's fine." He said quietly since he was concentrated on my wound.

I drew in a deep breath of air while hissing slightly from the burning. "Sorry A." He said quietly. I laid my head on his shoulder and let the few tears that fell out.

I let my walls down around Cole and only Cole. Why? I don't know. I just feel like I need to.

"Ashy. Look at me." He said quietly. I shook my head. I can't show him I am weak. "Ashy. Look at me." He said more stern. I slowly looked up at him and he looked a little surprised that I was crying.

"Why are you crying?" He asked while wiping away my tears. "It was just from the pain." I said. I partially told the truth. Ashlynn walked in.

"I heard you guys talking. Are you okay Ash?" She asked worried. "Yeah. It's just because it hurts." I said motioning to the wound.

She stood there for a minute and Cole looked up from my arm and looked at her confused on why she is still in here.

"There's more. Tell me. I'm your twin." She said sitting down on the ledge of the bathtub. "Mom. I feel like I'm losing her and I really don't want to even though I said I didn't care. I do. When she told me that I was a very bad child... I'm not going to lie. It hurt. It hurt a lot." I said uncomfortable.

"One, I see you aren't touchy with your feelings by how uncomfortable you are. Two, talk to her. Three, it's because she made him sign the divorce papers. Four, she thought she was losing you." Ashlynn said.

"I know I was probably a dick to you at first and I'm s-sorry." I said. She raised a brow. "Not use to apologizing much either." She noted.

"I'm not good with anything touchy or... nice." I said. "And we will work on that. I promise." Ashlynn said and yawned. Cole was half asleep as he worked on my arm. I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I can do it. Go back to bed." I said. He shook his head as he continued cleaning it. I guess you could say it's a hassle to look after a gun shot wound.

"Night sis. I'm going back to bed. Just talk to her in the morning." Ashlynn said while giving me a side hug. I nodded and said Night.

"Will you tell me how your feeling for now on? I know that you think I don't know anything in these situations but, I do. So, no more secrets?" He asked.

"No more secrets and I'm sorry. I'll tell you how I feel from here on out." I said. He was wrapping my arm now. "Good. Now. Come back to bed." He said.

"After I talk with my mom or I won't be able to sleep." I said as I looked at him. His face was funny. You could tell he was trying to give me thee look that meant he wants what he wants but, he was tired.

I quietly giggled. He put his hands on my knees and moved my legs apart and soon stood in between my legs. "We have a long night ahead of us tomorrow. We need to get rest. Also, one of my trials is bloody." He said.

"The rules." I whisper yelled. "I know them. You?" He asked. "No. I've been focusing on the dance part." I said.

"Rule one, no viper left behind. Rule two, never betray family. Rule three, always stick together. Rule four, always wear your jacket in public. Rule five, never sell drugs." Cole said while I listened.

I nodded. "Repeat." He said. "Rule one, no viper left behind... rule two, never betray family. Rule three, always stick together. Rule four, always wear your jacket... Rule five, never sell drugs." I repeated quietly. He smiled.

"We will continue this tomorrow. We will study those rules over and over until they are down. Understood." He said. I smiled and nodded while wrapping my arms around his neck. I pulled him closer to me and pressed my lips against his.
