We were back at Stardale high school. Our last year. I turn 18 this weekend and it won't be with my father. Thank god.

I was in the newspaper room with Cole. He was working on his last math problem and then I was going to check them.

I finished all my homework and I was reading Cole's book that he is working on. It's his life story and it's amazing. I mean. I have a few suggestions that could wait until later.

"Done." Cole said. I looked up and he was looking at me. I nodded and took the sheet of paper. I helped him with the first page and the second page is the same thing but, more complex. But, he got them all right.

"Good job Cole. You got them all correct." I said smiling and looking at him. "Thanks to you." He said looking at me.

"Thank you Cole. For everything today." I said while getting up. He got up too and stood in front of me.

I looked up at him. "Cole?" I Asked. He leaned down and I found myself leaning in. Until our lips connected.

The kiss was slow and passionate. It was full of love. The only thing that stopped us was the door opening so we pulled away. It was Katie and soon Austin walked in with Violet.

I sighed. I sat back down at the desk and Cole sat at his desk next to me. He took my hand under the desk and squeezed it.

"I saw that." Katie said motioning to her lips. Austin and Violet seemed confused.

"Oh. This." Cole said while lifting our hands up. I sighed. "No. Cole. She saw the kiss." I said. "You guys kissed?!" Violet exclaimed. Austin looked a little jealous.

"Yeah. Why?" Cole Asked. "Cole." I said. He looked at me. I shook my head. "Austin. We are friends. Just friends. Not best friends. Nothing more. Violet. We are acquaintances. That's it. Not after what you said about my brothers." I said coldly.

"Well. You called me a whore." She said outraged. "After you called me crazy. Accusing my brothers of being crazy. And you know I'm right deep down inside." I said.

"Can we be more then friends?" Austin asked. "Are you trying to take my girlfriend away from me?" Cole Asked. Oh. That's... I just.... I feel the same but, I didn't know he did. I just thought he wanted a kiss.

"Wait. You guys are dating?" Austin asked. "Yes. That's why we kissed." Cole said. "Oh. Well. Um no. I wasn't trying to take her from you Cole. I just want us to be best friends again." Austin said.

The sherif walked in with a girl. "Austin, Katie, Cole, and new girl. Out." The sherif said. "Can Cole Stay? He's kinda... he's my boyfriend." I said. The sherif nodded.

"Your mother sent me down to Valleyside which is about three towns over but, I went to pick up your twin sister. This is her. You mom said keep her away from your dad. May I ask why?" He asked.

"My dad. He is in a gang. The pythons. He's got a tattoo. She's gonna divorce him. We are moving to a house that I showed her and yeah." I said.

"Your brothers. I know they aren't guilty. I just don't know how to get them out." He said. "I do and I am." I said.

"Is it legal?" He asked. "Yeah. It is." I said. He sighed in relief and nodded. "Ashleigh, this is your twin Ashlynn." The sheriff said. I smiled. The sheriff left and the girl stared at me.

"My god. I can't believe your my twin." She finally said. I was a little confused. "Well. It's just. You know. Your prettier then me." She said while looking down. Her brown hair  covering her face. She looks more like my dad while I look more like my mom. Dad has brown hair and green eyes. Mom has ice blond hair and blue eyes.

"Your beautiful. What are you talking about? We just have different hair colors and eye colors. Otherwise.... we look identical." I exclaimed.

"I see. Your more of a popular girl." She said studying me. "God no. This is Cole. He's my... boyfriend. Austin. He's a friend and only a friend. Not best or anything. Then violet is just a person who I don't really like and Katie is my best friend. See. My only people." I said.

"Alright. I guess I'm hanging with you today. I don't mind. Anything I should stay away from here at school?" She asked.

"Well. Austin. He's a fuckboy. Just don't be anything more then friends with him. Just stay friends or mutual feelings with Violet. Otherwise stay away from her as much as possible. The football team and the cheerleaders. Or just popular people in all. Just hang out with me and my few friends and other nerdy kids like us." I said.

"Is there a track team here? I really like to run." She said. "There is Indeed. Your sister is actually the new captain." Cole said.

"Really. Must be fun. You think I could join?" She asked. I nodded when a panicked mom and sherif walked in.
