It took almost two hours for her to get the check made. I have to go home and get dressed nicely since it's still important. I have half an hour.

I started running towards the direction of my house and I rummaged through my moms closet. Then I found a black jumpsuit. It will have to work.

I then rummaged through the high heels I have and grabbed the black pumps

I then rummaged through the high heels I have and grabbed the black pumps. I was throwing my hair into a tight bun. I put on dark red lipstick in a little bit of black eye shadow before I grabbed the bag and held the black pumps in my hand.

Then I took off towards the courthouse. I pushed myself to go faster and when I was on the steps of the courthouse, I looked at my watch. Ten minutes. I jogged up the stairs and walked through the main doors and up to the second level where mom, Cole, Katie, Austin, and Ashlynn were all dressed nice. Sheriff looked nicer then before. I slid on the pumps real quick.

"Wait. Is that my jumpsuit?" Mom Asked. "Yeah. I don't have anything dressy mom. Well for this occasion." I said. "Oh. Wait. Those are my heels." Mom said. "They were in my closet." I said.

"From the last time you stole them." She said. "Borrowed." I corrected. "Stole. You never returned them." She said. "We don't have time for this mom. We need to focus on getting the twins out and free. You all will stay quiet." I said.

"She's right. Let her and I handle it. She's got the brains so don't worry." Sheriff said. "Mind if I come in with you guys. For support." Violet asked. I turned to her.

"Yes. I do mind. For support my ass. You called them crazy and basically said they deserved to be behind bars. We. Don't. Need. Your. Support. So goodbye violet. I said we could be acquaintances. Not like we are all besties." I snapped.

"Alright. A simple, you could leave would have been fine." Violet said. "Maybe if you could get some things through that thick skull of yours and to that small brain. Maybe you would realize you aren't one of us. After all, these people are true people. Unlike you. Your just another one of the New York girls." I said in disgust.

"Honey. Calm down. Your scaring me. A lot." Mom said. "Violet. You need to leave." Austin said. "Fine." She said with hurt. "Maybe that's where you should have started." Cole shyly suggested. I raised one of my perfectly arched brows.

"After she said I was crazy?" I Asked. "True. Sorry Ashy." He said. I nodded. "We are ready." A guard said while holding the door open for us. I saw my brothers and they looked confused.

Mom, Ashlynn, Cole, Austin, and Katie all sat on one side of the court which was the not guilty side as I say. The Andersons were sitting on the guilty side. With my so called father. The Andersons lawyers were here and my brothers were sitting at the table with their lawyer. Me and sheriff sat down next to them.

"This hearing is to bail out Asher and Ashton Black. Does anyone believe they should not be bailed?" Blossom Asked. The Andersons and my dad stood up. I had my fists clenched tightly. Ashton took one of my hands under the table and I stopped clenching them.

I looked at my hands and saw nail marks. They were bleeding. I wiped the blood on the black handkerchief I always carry.

"Why do you believe they are not worthy of being out of jail Mr. Anderson?" Blossom Asked. "Because. They murdered my daughter Lili Anderson." He said.

"Alright. Who believes that Asher and Ashton Black should be bailed out?" Blossom Asked. My brothers, our lawyer for them, the sheriff, I, Austin, mom, Ashlynn, Cole, and Katie all stood up.

"Ashleigh will you please come to the stand and give a statement on my why you believe your brothers are not guilty." Blossom Asked. I nodded.

"Stay calm." Sheriff warned and I nodded before going to the stand. "First off. How do you spell your name?" The person who types what you say asks.

"A-s-h-l-e-i-g-h." I said. "Alright. Sorry. You may go on." He said. "You May give your statement. Stay in line Ashleigh." Blossom warned. I nodded.

"My brothers, Asher and Ashton Black are not guilty and they should be bailed out as they are innocent. I know my brothers didn't murder Lili Anderson. For one, they don't own a gun. Two, they can't aim a gun as they tried when we went hunting before, three, they can't stand blood. They get sick. For this reason I believe they should be bailed out. Have their records expunged. And be left alone like the rest of my family by the Andersons." I said as kindly at the beginning but, the last sentence was sorta directed towards the Andersons.

"Ashleigh." Blossom whispered but, I knew he was warning me and I clenched my fists again. "My apologies your honor." I said quietly.

"Then maybe you killed my daughter. After all your a cold hearted bitch!" Mr. Anderson Yelled outraged. "That is enough Anderson. Sit down. One more Peep without permission. Your outta here." The guard warned.

"Can I answer that your honor?" I asked quietly. He nodded. I looked at the Andersons. "I have an alibi. I was at Rons Diner from noon to six pm." I said. "For six hours." The Andersons lawyer said.

"Yes. Six hours. I had a very bad day that day. If you would like. You could ask Colebert Kingsley and Ron." I said. "We believe you because we already had you checked off the suspects list." Blossom said.

I was angry now. I was a suspect. I clenched my fists even tighter if possible. "Jury, do you plead guilty or not guilty?" Blossom Asked.

They got up and left. "Are you alright Ashleigh?" The sheriff asked as he got up and headed towards the stand. "Could you maybe get me a rag with some warm water after this?" I Asked.

His face scrunched up in confusion. I showed him my hands from the side. "Ashleigh." He said quietly. "It happens when I clench my fists to tight. I do it from snapping or getting angry." I said while putting my handkerchief in between my hands.

"Yes. But, your mom." He said. "Don't tell her or anyone. I'm working on it. I've been seeing the school counsellor." I said. "Alright. But, if it doesn't improve. I'm telling her." He warned.

"Telling who what?" We heard Blossom. I nearly fell out of the seat at held my heart for a moment before looking at Blossom with thee face. He looked at me and flinched.

"I'm sorry. I forgot you get scared like that easily." He said as the jury came back in. The sheriff went back to his seat while my family and friends and boyfriend eyed me suspiciously.

"Jury, what have you decided?" Blossom said.
