Months had gone by. After your recovery back at the hospital, you were taken to a doctor for anti-depression medication. You never took it, even when your parents forced the pill in your mouth. You spat it back out. Needless to say, your parents never left you alone after what you pulled, too worried that you might try it again.

As for what happened in the hospital, the doctors said you were lucky to be alive. You had felt anything but lucky. They told you that you had been in comatose for several weeks while they worked to keep you alive. You had other plans though. You had tried several times, when they weren't looking, to try and slip out the needles that were putting blood back in you. Eventually, they had to strap your head back to restrain you from using your mouth to pull them out. It was a long time before the doctors finally said that you were good to go. They took out the needles, but as they began to take away the restraints, they kept the bandages on your eyes on until they had moved the equipment far out of reach for you. They didn't want to take any chances with you trying to stab yourself with the needles.

When they did take the bandages off, your parents were in the room. You had to shield your eyes from the light, as it had been a while since you had any direct light in your face. Through a window on the right side, you also caught a visitor looking through and at you. A red Absol. Once it saw that you saw it, it went off. The doctors did several tests to make sure that you were fully recovered, doing eye exams, reflex tests, anything that your parents felt was an absolute necessity. Once you were released, your parents took you back immediately to Sunyshore City.

They got paranoid, hiding knives, anything that you might have used. You knew that getting to Mt. Coronet would be impossible without your parents getting alerted. Dad was the head of police, which made you an obvious pick out from other young men. Mom though was working on getting you set up for finishing your school at home, despite her busy job as a manager for the corporation that creates pokéballs. Until then, you would have to finish the current year of school as a Junior.

During that time, everyone who recognized you tried to ask if you were okay. You couldn't help but feel contempt towards them. Where were they when you needed someone? Then you had to remind yourself. You never told anyone what was going on because Dominick threatened to make it worse if you did. Your parents were the first ones to make you speak about it. That's what made Mom decide to do home school. The next ones that demanded an explanation were teachers, but you didn't say a thing to them. They told you that until you explained to them what was going on, that they were going to have to keep you here. Even then, you couldn't tell them. The truth just kept getting choked up in your throat. You half-wondered if it was still the damage done to your voice box that was stopping you. Everyone in school looked at you differently. They no longer looked at you as the quiet and isolated person. They instead saw you as someone who was finally worth their attention, worth pity.

Dad had gotten an officer to take you to and from school every day until Mom finally got everything sorted out with home-schooling. Today would be the first day you would actually go back after fully recovering. During your class hours, you had taken your seat in the back of the class, like you always had. Dominick was only in two of your classes, and unfortunately, sat right next to you during your fourth hour. He took your pen as you were writing your English test and broke it. Not only that, he kept stabbing you under the desk with his pencil. Of course the teacher didn't catch him doing it. He had no heart. That you were convinced plainly over the years he had been bullying you since 1st grade. Finishing with a pencil, keeping silent while enduring more stabbing from Dominick, when the bell rang, you tried to get as much distance from him as you could while walking. It wasn't until the end of sixth hour that Dominick cornered you by yourself outside. He had already snatched your pack and was throwing everything around.
