A couple of weeks had gone by, and Sonya's speech has seemed to improve drastically! She started getting the hang of some words fairly easily thanks to the combined effort of everyone. Sonya had started speaking a lot faster thanks to actually being able to see the letters and make the sound with them, something that for whatever reason, no one brought up. Now that she knew how to speak, she just needed to learn how to put the words together, and the best way she could learn that, according to Mrs. Lee, was from observing others. You were confused on how she was supposed to know what the words meant for her, but just decided to not bother with it right now.

At the moment, you were asleep on your bed, dreaming away the night. Remember those dreams that had stopped for a couple of months? Well, it came back, but it ended REALLY differently. Sonya was there, but everything around you seemed distorted and blurred, almost like it was fake. Well, it was fake, but this just felt... off.... When Sonya spoke, you could hear her voice, but even that was distorted. The only thing that didn't seem distorted in this dream, was Sonya's appearance. Even you looked like you were blurring when you looked at yourself. You looked up at Sonya, confused, and a little scared.

"Sonya, what's going on?" Sonya tilted her head, but was still smiling as she responded.

"What do you mean?" She asked. "Everything's perfectly normal." Her voice got deeper and more masculine when she spoke her second sentence. Sonya started to get closer, but for once, you took a step back for every step she came forward. Everything started to distort drastically, yet Sonya only seemed to be affected a little.

"What's wrong (Y/n)? I just want to get a closer look!" She lunged at you, but as she did, her shape changed drastically. It wasn't Sonya anymore, but it was another man grabbing your chin, preventing you from moving back. The man's features were almost impossible to tell out from how blurred he was, but the eyes and the grin he had on his face were completely visible to you.

"YOu'Ve haD you'Re MomeNt, NOW, it'S tIMe fOR MinE!" Despite the panic going on, you caught something else going on. Something coming right at you. If you thought something couldn't be darker than darkness, you were wrong. Something that seemed like a streak of nothing but void was coming at you while on the opposite side, something that looked like pure light was diving at you as well! The man who had a hold on you raised his other hand up, but before he could do what he was trying to do, both the light and the darkness hit you square in the chest, arcing around the man and sending you flying out of his grasp. You hit the ground hard, then started tossing and turning from the pain that wracked your body. It felt like something was shredding your body from the inside out, heating it up and freezing it at the same time, almost making it feel like there was a battle already going on from inside you!

"nO.... No. NO! NO!!!!" It was that guy again, or whatever it was. You could hear it running over towards you, then as it kneeled down beside you, it was about to place its hand on you, but then you felt your entire body explode with some kind of energy. The blast pushed it back, making a loud grunt. You started to stand up, feeling like your body was cloaked in fire, but it didn't seem to hurt you. As you stood up, you saw the figure starting to stand up as well. When he saw you, his expression seemed to shift. You raised your hands as you looked down and saw yourself surging with a rainbow of colors. As you looked back at the figure, it was rushing right at you. You quickly raised your hand and put out the palm of your hand at him, stretching your fingers out all the way which seemed to make it slam into a wall, stopping it from coming at you. You only glared at it as multiple emotions rushed in your body. You brought your thumb and your middle finger together, pressing them on each other as you felt yourself well up.

"Begone!" You snapped your fingers, and the figure was shot back faster than you could keep track of. Simultaneously, something else came flying right at your face. Before you could even recognize it, it crashed into you, and you were startled awake from the dream. You laid there in bed, sweating and panting heavily. As you pushed yourself up and looked around, you saw that you were back in your room. Starting to calm down, you felt like you were still in a dream, or at least, still had the same feeling as you had in the dream. Just as you were starting to regain your breathing, you heard a yawn, then you felt something press on your chest and pull you back onto the bed. You yelped a little bit from surprise as you plopped back onto the bed. Looking to your right, you saw Sonya still laying down and asleep. You were about to jump back and out of bed, but then you felt Umbreon's wet nose touch the back of your neck. That made you spaz and switch your reaction. Your feet went back, but your face went forward, and right into Sonya's chest fur. Almost immediately as you did that, Sonya yawned once again and pulled you into her more by pressing her paws on your back. You freaked out for a second, trying to break free, but realized it was all in vain at this point. It wasn't that Sonya had hold strong enough to prevent you, it was her fur. Despite how startled you were, her fur was still so freaking soft. You lost your fear and started to relax again.
