It was Friday night, which meant movie night. The movie they were playing was The Princess Bride, I was never fond of the movie but I still went. I stood by Grizz who was at the door, searching bags as Luke patted them down.

As each student walked by me they all gave me a look, but I just kept a straight face on. When the line of people disappeared, the boys started to head in but I lingered back. Grizz notices that I wasn't beside him and he looks back, walking over to me.

"What's up?"

"I don't know if I should be here. You know, like after everything." I said, looking at him.

"You're doing the right thing. Don't listen to them." Grizz says, and I nodded. I grabbed his hand, intertwined our fingers and we walked in. Just as we walked in, Grizz walks us over to Clark and Gwen, I looked over to see Elle sitting by herself. I whispered to Grizz that I would be back and I made my way over to Elle.

"Good turn out." I said, sitting next to her.

"I didn't think people would come. I thought they'd be too afraid." Elle says, "But they came."

"There are more people here then when Helena preaches on Sunday." I said, and she chuckles quietly as everyone laughs at the movie.

"Where's Campbell?"

"Um, he didn't want to come out tonight." She says and I nodded.

"It's good to be on your own sometimes." I said, and after that I left her. I got back to Grizz and he looks at me.

"What was that?"

"It was her idea, I wanted to thank her." I said, and he nods looking back to the movie. He puts an arm around my shoulders and I leaned into him, watching.

The movie had soon finished, and I was walking with Grizz, Jason, Will and Allie. I was walking between Grizz and Jason, as Allie was walking with Will up front. She was going on about Cassandra and how she loves the movies, and her love for snacks.

"Jai would drag me to sci-fi movies when we were kids." I said, smiling at the memory.

"What movie?" Will asked, looking at me.

"Star Wars. The whole franchise. Now there's a moment I won't ever get back." I said laughing and everyone joins.

"Okay, it's not that bad." Grizz says and I chuckled, pushing him slightly.

"Don't even start me Grizz." I said, and he smiles at me. We had finally reached the house, and Allie and I turned to face the boys.

"Thank you for walking us home." Allie spoke up and I nodded.

"I appreciate it you guys." I said, smiling.

"No problem. We got you." Grizz responded.

"I'll be on duty tonight." Jason says, and we nodded. Allie turns around to go inside but I looked up at Grizz.

"Meet you inside?" I said, and he nods. I leaned up kissing him on the cheek before walking up to the door with Will and Allie.

"I made a decision." Allie says, as we reached the door.

"Yeah?" Will asked, turning to her.

"I'm not destroying the guns. I'm keeping them." She says, and I just nodded.

I couldn't protest, I told Allie it was her decision on what she wanted to do. I couldn't protest her on that. But I wanted to say something, ask her why. Just as we got inside the house, I was met by Sam.

"Can I talk to everyone?" He signed and I nodded.

"Guys, meeting in the living room." I said, and everyone walks in. I hear the door open and I see Grizz walk in.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Sam just wants to talk to us." I said and he nods, we walked into the room. I sat on the coffee table in front of Sam who sat next to Becca, Allie was in the back, Grizz had sat in the closest seat to me, Will and Bean shared the couch, Gordie was in the chair in the back room.

"Ready?" I asked Sam and he nods.

"Yeah." He signs before sighing.

"Okay, there's a reason why we never had a dog growing up." I said, as Sam signed to me, "We had a bird one time, when I was little. It was yellow and green. His name was Oliver. It vanished from its cage one day and I went outside to see if a window was open. I saw Campbell playing with it, he cuts its wings off. Full off. And watching it try to walk away. Try to fly-,"

I had to take a second to see what Sam had signed, more because I was shaking. But I cleared my throat as I kept talking.

"Watching it try to fly with his bloody stumps. It kept losing balance and falling over. My parents tried to hide the truth from people. Pretending that he was just a difficult kid. Like a normal version of a problem child. Anti-social and moody. But Campbell was not a normal version of anything. They had him tested." I felt my voice waver at this point, my eyes getting cloudy.

"He's a psychopath." Becca finished for me and I nodded at her. There was a long silence as everyone tried to take in what was said.

"Fuck." Grizz says, as he blinks away the tears. I looked at Becca, I didn't want to keep talking and she understood that as Sam kept signing.

"You have to understand, he doesn't think as we do. Feel as we do. He has no guilt, no empathy." Becca says, translating Sam, "He can mimic that stuff but he can't actually feel it."

"So, wha-what do we do?" Will asked, speaking up.

"I don't know." Sam says, and signing as well. I put my head in my hands, before brushing my hair back as I let out a shaky breathe.

"Holy fuck." I mumbled out.
