"Okay! Okay, we're gonna- hello!" Harry yelled, as he stood on top of a car.

Everyone, most of everyone met in a parking lot near the quad to play fugitive. I was standing at the back, looking around to see if I could see Grizz but he was no where to be seen. I turned and I see Elle standing next to me, the girl from the grocery store.

"You playing?" I asked, looking at the blonde girl.

"No, I don't think so." She says, shaking her head.

"Why not?"

"I'm not really in the mood for games." Elle says, crossing her arms over her body.

"That's cool too." I said, before looking out to the crowd.

"I'm sorry about your brother. I know how much he meant to you." Elle says and I gulped looking at her.

"Yeah, kind of the only thing I had going for me. I think of it as a way of God punishing me." I said, and Elle looks at me.

"I keep thinking that way too?"

"Why you?" I asked, nodding at her to answer first.

"I don't know, I just do. What about you?" She asked and I pursed my lips.

"Just the way things are with me, my family." I said, and she nods, "But there is this one line that my friend likes, from a book. It kind of reminds me not to go to that place. 'I don't think God punishes people for specific things, I think he punishes them in general for no reason'."

"Hmm." Elle says and I nodded, "That's life right."

"Yeah, sucks sometimes. Doesn't it?" I said, before walking off. I spotted Grizz standing next to Harry, as Harry handed him a set of keys. Just before I could say anything, a police car rode in and the siren blared.

"What do you think? Keys were inside." Clark says, jumping out of the car.

"We're going to divide up. Half of us are fugitives and the rest are cops. Fugitives on foot, cops in cars. The church is safe, the gazebo is jail. The whole fucking town is fair play!" Harry shouts, making people cheer, "Fugitives you have a three minute head start!" He blows a horn, indicating it was time.

"You're running, I'm driving." Grizz says, as we make our way to the car, "Ready?" I just nodded. Grizz pulls out of the parking lot, into the street as the rest of the 'cops' were behind him.

Clark and Jason pulled up beside us, revving their engines while Harry and Allie were on the other side. My adrenaline started to kick in, I rolled down my window calling out to Jason and Clark. Just as they looked, I flipped them off smirking as Grizz drove past. My phone vibrates making me look down.

"Fugitives spotted on Winpool." I said, and Grizz takes a sharp right turn.

I couldn't help but feel the wind blowing in my face, I decided to bring my body halfway out and sitting down on the door. I held on tight, closing my eyes as I felt the air rush by and flick my hair back, it smacking me in the face.

"There!" I yelled, spotting a fugitive and Grizz took a sharp turn, nearly taking me out. He stops the car and I immediately got out. Allie and Harry had pulled up behind us, and Allie got out running past me.

In a blink of an eye, a car had pulled forward and made Allie fly over the top. I gasped and I run towards her as I see her laying on the ground.

"Allie!" I yelled, running to her.

"Fuck!"

"Storme!" Grizz says, coming around the side of the car with Harry close behind him. I knelt next to her and Harry knelt on the other side, I could already feel the tears coming.

"Fuck. Please, I can't lose someone else." I muttered. Clark got out of the car apologising, and Allie turns over.

"My heart is beating so fast!" Allie says, and she laughs making me scoff.

"Fuck sakes." I said, seeing Allie was okay, "You fucking scared me Allie."

"We have fugitives to catch." Allie says, before standing and running off. I shake my head and I walked back over to the car in anger.

"Storme, hey. Hey. What's up?" Grizz says, catching me and turns me around. I had tears in my eyes shaking my head.

"I-Who the fuck am I to come out here and have fun? I thought I had lost Allie only after losing-," I gulped, "I can't Grizz."

"Hey, you're allowed to have fun, okay? Jai would rather you have fun than wallow at home, you know this. We've got some of the game left then we can go to Harry's to party." Grizz says and I sighed.

"You go, okay. I'm just going to head back home." I said, and Grizz looks at me.

"You going home then so am I." Grizz says and I gave him a look.

"I don't want you having to stay home with me. I'll come by a little later, I just want to be alone." I said, and I walked off from him.

I had been walking all over town and soon it started to piss down rain. I made it in front of my house, old memories resurfacing. I stood there under the rain and cried, you couldn't tell the difference but I could.

I don't think I could bring myself to walk back in there. All my clothes, Grizz had to grab for me if I needed anything else, it was too much for me to be back in there. I had a bottle of Whiskey in my hand, I took another swig before throwing the empty bottle on the ground.

I walked off from there, didn't want to see it anymore. I was walking in town and I could hear commotion, making me raise an eyebrow. I walked around the corner and I could see, kids running out of the hardware store.

I frowned walking over, seeing one of the boys cars parked out front. I see kids falling to the ground, as Jason started throwing punches. Flashlights were on the ground along with the other kids. I looked to see some kid I didn't recognise, holding a torch. He threw it in Harry's car, followed by a can of gasoline.

"Storme!" I hear someone yell as the explosion had knocked me back. I tried to gain my balance but stumbled over something else. I felt someone catch me to pull me away but I stared at the fire in awe.

"Come on Storme!" I hear Grizz yell in my ear.

I finally snapped out of it, and he grabs a hold of me as I get into the comfort of his body. He pulled me under shelter to where Cassandra, Will, Kelly, Allie and Harry were standing. I pushed the wet hair out of my face, watching the chaos go on.

Glass soon shattered behind me and I feel Grizz put his arm over me in protection. I turned around and I see a kid climbing into another store, and I looked back out to see the car on fire.

"Fuck." I said, and Grizz pulls me closer to him.

The car was still on fire. The rain kept pouring down. There were no rules. No adults.

We were stuck.
