The night was coming to an end as Grizz, Sam and I just watched people leave slowly. Sam had to leave to go check on Becca, leaving Grizz and I at the table.

"I was watching you talk to Sam." I said, looking at Grizz.

"Yeah, I don't know sign language very well." Grizz says, laughing.

"You know he can read lips." I said, raising an eyebrow smirking at him.

"Yeah, but I wanted to be able to talk to him in his language." Grizz says and I smiled.

"That's sweet of you."

"How do you know how to speak sign?" He asked and I chuckled.

"Um, my mother sister was deaf. My mum would teach us to sign because she couldn't read lips very well. I got the hang of it quickly."

"No doubt you didn't." Grizz says, making me gasp and playfully push him. He laughs, making me smile shaking my head as I looked over the place. It was pretty much empty, Gordie and Cassandra stood behind a table, while Will and Allie were the only ones dancing.

"Hey, do you want to get out of here?" Grizz asked and I looked at him nodding.

"Sure." I said, "Let me go tell Cassandra." He nods and I walked over to where Cassandra and Gordie were standing.

"Hey, we're headed out but I'll be back in an hour to help clean up." I said, but she shakes her head.

"No, it's alright. Go have fun with Grizz." Cassandra says and I snickered.

"I'll be back." I said, as I started to walk off, "Grizz and I aren't dating."

"Whatever," Will says as I passed him and I chuckled, pushing him.

"Mind your business." I said, glaring at him playfully before walking back out.

I met Grizz outside and we walked back home, straight away getting up to the room. I had changed out of my dress and heels into shorts and a baggy jumper that was Grizz's. I walked out of the bathroom pulling my hair out of my jumper sighing.

"Wow, heels really kill." I said, scoffing as Grizz laughed.

"They don't seem so harmless." He says and I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, do you want to try them on? By all means, go for it." I said, and he laughs again.

"I think I'll pass." Grizz says and I chuckled, "Teach me."

"How to walk in heels?" I said, raising an eyebrow making him laugh and roll his eyes.

"No, sign. I want to learn."

"It took me a few years to learn what I know."

"Yeah, and you know a lot of stuff. I just want to be able to talk to Sam or any other deaf people I meet. Like what if one day, you go deaf?"

"I'm pretty good at reading lips." I said, and he raises an eyebrow.

"Really?" He says and I laughed.

"Meaning, that if I were too, I would still be able to and do sign." I said, before smiling, "My aunt always told me that she got used to being deaf. She was used to it. It made her other senses heightened. Kind of like Daredevil." Grizz laughs making me laugh with him.

"Do you miss your family?" Grizz asked then I looked at him making him sigh, "Th-that's not what I meant. I mean-,"

"I know what you meant. It's okay." I said, smiling, "I mean my mothers side was always there for us. But when she died, my dad cut off all communication with them. I haven't seen them for 2 years."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Really. I mean, I knew that after high school that I was going to leave this shitty town and go see my aunt." I said, and Grizz nods.

"What college were you going too?"

"Um, I got accepted to Julliard and UCLA." I said, and Grizz's eyes go wide.

"Holy shit, you didn't tell me that." Grizz says and I chuckled.

"I didn't want to tell anyone. I wouldn't be able to afford it, my father would never have let me go to those colleges. He wanted me to go to Yale. Plus, with how I've been doing I don't know if those would still be in place." I said, rolling my eyes and Grizz laughs.

"Well, I'm really proud of you." Grizz says and I looked at him.

"You always are. I could never do wrong in your eyes, and sometimes it sucked but I'm been really grateful these days." I said, smiling.

"Because you could never do wrong." Grizz says and I chuckled, rolling my eyes as I pushed his shoulder lightly. I couldn't help but smile, I looked to see he was staring at me and I chuckled again, raising an eyebrow.

"What?"

"I love seeing you smile." Grizz says and I stared back at him. I see him slowly leaning in again, and I gulped looking at him. I didn't move, I didn't know what to feel or what to do. Soon, I felt his lips on mine and I immediately responded, closing my eyes and letting our lips move in sync.

We pulled away and I made eye contact with him, my hands resting on his face. I searched his face and we continued smiling at each other, before leaning into each other again. I laid on my back, as Grizz hovered over me. Everything taking its course from there.

After, I had laid my head on his chest as he held my hands. We talked for another hour about anything. I looked over at the time and my eyes go wide.

"Fuck." I said, getting out of the bed looking for my shirt.

"What?" Grizz asked laying in bed.

"I promised Cassandra I would help her clean up." I said, pulling shirt back over my body along with my pants.

"Let me come with you." Grizz says, trying to get up.

"No. It's okay." I said, stopping him as I put my shoes on, "Stay here. I wont be long, less than an hour."

"You sure?" Grizz asked and I smiled, leaning down to kiss him.

"I'll be back soon." I said, before leaving the room and the house.

I was walking down the street, smiling to myself and thinking to what had happened just before. I brought my hand up to my lips, still feeling them tingle from the kiss. I chuckled, shaking my head at my thoughts.

I looked around seeing how peaceful it was right now, soon ended when I hear two gunshots ring through the air. I ran towards the sound of the gunshots, running around the corner seeing Cassandra laying in a pool of her own blood.

"Holy- Cassandra!" I said, running over to her body and kneeling next to her, "No, no. Fuck! Cassandra!"
