Extraordinary

Chapter One

                                                                                       Lynn POV:

My name is Lynn Bren. In my future the world is ruled by an evil company named The Dome.

They might not seem like a big company but trust me they control what is left at this world besides the select few who have the power to stand up.

There are seven kids, including me, we were all born with extraordinary powers and The Dome has wanted us ever since. I'm the oldest at sixteen years old, my powers are super speed but I have the most control over my powers. The younger ones view me as the leader of our group we consider to be our family.

The next older is Jason who is only one year younger than me and is fifteen years old, his powers are super strength and durability, he is immune to most things such as bullets but the ones The Dome uses do hurt him a good amount.

Next up are the twins Ava and Liam who are thirteen, Ava has the ability to teleport over long distances up to one mile. Liam has the power to turn invisible and even make others invisible we're training to make it easier for him it causes a big strain on his power, luckily for us even his clothes go invisible or his stealth would not be the best.

Michael is eleven and can shapeshift and can hear people's thoughts. He is still working on his range on people's thoughts and what he can shapeshift into. Right now he can shapeshift into people he has seen and certain animals

Eliza, or as we call her Lizzie, is only eight old but is one of the most powerful, she has pyro-kinesis, which is the ability to cause and create fire and also telekinesis. She does not have the best control over this yet since it only just appeared but Jason and I have been helping her figure it out.

Paige who is the youngest at only six years old is our resident healer and flyer. We don't know how but Paige can sprout wings at some times. Her ability to heal is still developing so we only use it for big emergencies unless we are training to help her master it.

Now that you know all of us I hope you won't inform The Dome of us, they have been hunting us for about six years now. When Paige was born we were sent into a world of chaos. Even though Ava and Liam are the only biological siblings, we all view each other as family and would do anything to keep each other safe.

One other detail that might be important to know. My parents are the leaders of The Dome. The thought they could make weapons with extraordinary powers in order to keep enemies at bay, but they did not consider that we would not want to do their bidding. We decided that we did not want to live at The Dome headquarters anymore when we saw little Paige come in. Now that you know our backstories this is what is happening right now in present day 2040.

"You already had a donut" I heard Ava shout from across our little hideout. We lived in an abandoned house with three bedrooms which was not enough for seven kids and it only had two bathrooms also problematic with seven kids. I ran to the kitchen where Ava and Liam were fighting over Liam grabbing a second donut, even though they both already had one this morning. We weren't bad kids but we had to usually steal food in order to survive from the local grocery store. We only got the necessary items such as food and water. Liam decided to surprise us by getting a package of donuts and it only caused him and his sister to fight.

When Ava got angry her teleportation usually got out of control. Liam also turned invisible at the same time as Ava teleporting to the other side of the room. I called for Jason to get up and help me with the twins. I saw him walk slowly towards the kitchen with his normal groggy look in the morning. His jet black hair was all messy and uncombed and of course his eyes were there usual emerald green color. Each one of us either had bright green or light blue eyes, not the usual green or blue eyes most normal humans would have though. I was the only one with bright yellow and orange eyes. It might have been because of moving at speeds up to one thousand miles per hour but none of us had a real clue. Jason picked up Liam and plopped him on the old run down couch. Ava then teleported to the couch and her and Liam started talking about the donut and soon got over the whole argument.
