They stood out in the courtyard holding black umbrellas as the rain poured down. Mother and Pogo were with them as well.

"Did something happen," Mother asked confused. Peter looked at her with sad eyes. She was forgetting things a lot now.

"Dad died. Remember," asked Allison. Mother had a strange look on her face as comprehended that fact before replying with a yes.

"Is Mom ok," asked Allison.

"Yeah. She just needs to rest. Recharge," replied Diego. Peter had been one of the last to leave the house and had witnessed as her programming started to worsen into its current state. He knew that she would never be the same as she was when they were growing up. He still could see quick glimpses of when she was back to the way she was.

"Whenever you are ready, dear boy," said Pogo to Luther, who had Father's ashes, in a grim tone of voice. He slowly took the lid off of the urn. He poured it out expecting it to fly through the wind and fall to rest over the city he had lived in for so long, but it only fell straight to the ground.

"Probably would have been better with some wind," he replied quietly. Peter almost let a tear fall at that moment but stopped it.

"Does anyone wish to speak," asked Pogo in a voice that broke Peter's heart. Everyone seemed to look down. None of them wanted to speak about the father who had treated them badly. There seemed to be nothing positive to say about the man.

"Very well. In all regards, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made me what I am today. For that alone, I shall forever be in his debt." Pogo's face held a heartbroken expression. "He was my master... and my friend. I shall miss him very much." Pogo went to speak on but was interrupted by Diego.

"He was a monster. He was a bad person and a worse father. The world is better off without him," he said bitterly.

"Diego," said Allison angrily but he continued on.

"My name is Number Two. You know why? Because our father couldn't be bothered to give us actual names. He had Mom do it." Suddenly Mom chimed in.

"Would anyone like something to eat?"

"No, it's ok Mom. Thank you though," answered Peter softly to the woman just like he had so many times in the years since her software went haywire.

"Oh. Okay," she answered with a wide smile on her face that gave Peter a glimpse of happiness in this dark time.

"Look you want to pay your respects? Go ahead," said Diego butting in again as he walked into the center of the circle. "But at least be honest about the kind of man he was."

"You should stop talking now," said Luther angrily from his spot in the circle.

"You know, you of all people should be on my side, Number One," said Diego picking a fight with his brother.

"I am warning you," answered back Luther threateningly.

"After everything he did to you? He had to ship you a million miles away," yelled Diego angrily practically spitting in Luther's face. "That's how much he couldn't handle the sight of you!"Diego poked a finger into the center of Luther's chest.

Luther threw a punch at Diego's head, but Diego ducked down. Everyone else took a step back.

"Guys! Stop this!" yelled Peter angrily. They continued to fight and Peter felt his heart sink lower than the depths of the Mariana Trench. Klaus pulled Peter behind him protectively. Peter grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
