Chapter 3- The next day

I woke up the next morning staring. I forgot I was adopted. But then I realized.

I crawled out of my comfy bed it was much better then the ones at the orphanage.

I changed my clothes went to my bathroom
And brushed my teeth and floss. Then I head downstairs to see Shaun and Devon sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Good morning bud! Grab some eggs from the pan and come sit with us" Devon said cheerfully. Devon has scrubs on. Shaun has a button up shirt a red tie and black jeans.

I grabbed a plate and some eggs and sat at the table with them.

"So what are our plans today"  said while taking my first bit of eggs.

"Well... about that you haven't had a checkup yet" Shaun said softly

I drop my fork and stare at them.
"But I can't! I can't!" I say getting extremely worried.

Shaun looked at me. "It will be okay we won't hurt you"

"I don't wanna go today!" I whined

"But-" Shaun begin talking But was interrupted

"I don't wanna go" you pout

Devon kneels down next to me and gives me a hug as a tear came rolling down my cheek.

Devon strokes my hair. I liked Devon a bit more than Shaun. "Shh everything will be fine" he says softly

Flashbacks came rolling back into my head.
"But but the straps" I start crying more

"We promise we won't use them we got all day with you" Shaun said as he walks up to me and Devon and joins in on the hug.

They made me calmer. I sniffled and looked at Shaun with watery eyes.

"You promise?" I mumble

"We promise" both of them said at the same time.

I let go of Devon and Shaun then headed back upstairs. I hid under my bed as I was so skinny.

I heard footsteps as someone was coming up the stairs.
"Sebastian?" He questioned it was Shaun.

I stayed quiet but my sniffling gave my spot away.
He poked his head under the bed

"Hey it will be okay come on out" Shaun said calmly

I slowly came out from under the bed. My face was all red and puffy from crying.
"Can't it Wait Shaun" I mumble into his chest

"I'm sorry it can't" Shaun said then picked me up and carried me.

"I don't like being held" I say

"Well it's easier anyways" Shaun mumbles as he walks downstairs then sits me on the couch "Get your shoes on we are going somewhere" Devon says

I got my shoes on and got up. "Where are we going" I say

" I'll rather leave it a surprise" Shaun said looking as Devon.

We walked out to the car after locking up the house.
I got in the backseat.

We drove off I don't know where we are going

Then we pull up in a big parking lot

"We are at the mall" Devon cheered

Which made me smile. I loved How childish Devon was.

We all get out of the car and head into the shopping mall. I never been in one of these.

"Where do u wanna go first" Shaun said

"Umm how about we get that surprise for him" Devon says

We walked to a store that had a lot of electronics in it. They bought me a iPad and a computer.

"Why all this" I ask

"We wanna spoil our kid duh" Shaun said giving me a goofy smile making me chuckle.

Then we went to the clothing shops and got a lot of new clothes and a few pairs of converse.

Then after a long day of shopping we went home. I was playing in my iPad after it was set up and Shaun and Devon came to my room

"Yes?" I ask

"I've got something to tell you very important that needs to be said" Shaun said

"Well what is it?" I ask
