I woke up on this Friday morning, it was a rainy morning.
I get out of bed grab my clothes and proceeded to the bathroom where I got changed and brushed and flossed my teeth. I am so glad I will be getting my braces off very soon.
I head downstairs to see dad cooking breakfast on the stove.
"Hey dad" I say as I walk in the kitchen
"Oh hi" he said, I kind of startled my dad. Knowing him you can scare him really easy. Even me a small boy can scare my father. Usually fathers are hard to scare to be honest.
"I scared you?" I question chuckling to myself
"No.." he said and put some breakfast on a plate for me.
He handed me a plate of scrambled eggs, yogurt and a glass of milk.
I take it to the table and start eating my breakfast. "Do you have granola?" I ask
"Oh yes of course!" Dad says and pull out the container of granola and hands me it. I put a few tablespoons of granola on my yogurt with some fresh strawberries.
I eat my breakfast then clean up my plate then dad drives me to school and drops me off.
I head to my locker where Kaleb and William were waiting. I smiled at them. "Hey what's up" kaleb said
"Nothing much but guess what?" I say
"What?" William asks
"I'm getting my braces off at my next orthodontic appointment!" I explain.
"That's so cool" Kaleb said
A girl behind me dropped her books and I turned around and picked them up for her and handed them back to her and smiled at her.
"Thank you, I'm Shilo" she says and smiles back at me.
"Oh hi Shilo, I'm Sebastian" I say trying not to blush.
"Your blushing" Shilo giggles
"Oh shoot...sorry Shilo" I say and look up and smile at her
"It's okay! We should hang out one of these days" she winks then walks away carrying her books
Kaleb starts laughing "Dude! You gotta girlfriend"
"No I don't I just met her" I say
"Sure.." Kaleb says trying to start laughing
William was laughing too but not as loud as Kaleb more like chuckling lowly.
After school we all go to the shop and I got a small slushy and walked home. It was a cloudy day.
I finished my slushy before I got home and walked in the house. Dad wasn't home but Devon was sitting on the couch watching tv.
"What you watching?" I ask as I walk in and set my bag down.
"Nothing much just a movie, dad is picking up some food for dinner, you should get some homework done" he says
"I don't have any homework as I am in state testing" I say and I go upstairs
A little while later dad comes home and w have dinner..
I can't wait to get my braces off in a week
