Another Adventure AU (Part 1)

"What's your story, mate?" a man asked the cloaked figure who hid in the corner trying to not draw company but somehow always did.

"What do you want?" An emotionless voice responded.

"Um well you seem to be very lonely here and need some company," the man said, sitting down.

"I am waiting for someone and you're in their chair," the figure muttered as a huge shadow went over the man across from her. "Balasar just in time."

"Please move you're in my seat," a deep voice said.

The man used to come face to face with a huge Dragonborn. "Yes sir," the man squeaked, rushing away not caring about the mysterious figure anymore.

"Ella," Balasar said sitting down the chair, creaking from the weight of the huge Dragonborn. "Why did you call me here?"

"It's time," Ella said to him.

"Ella, you know this might not work right," Balasar said, sitting up twiddling with his drink handle looking down so he didn't look at her. "It's too dangerous."

"I don't care about how dangerous it is," she muttered leaning forwards her brown hair falling out of the cloak. "They didn't deserve to die and if this is the only chance it is worth it. "

"But you might not even get one back-" Balasar started to say.

"It doesn't matter I have nothing to lose anyway," Ella said hugging herself.

"Ella listen to yourself you could die-"

"Then so be it!" Ella said, grabbing her cloak and hugging it closer to herself.

Balasar groaned placing a hand on his face knowing he couldn't reason with Elf. "Ugh," Balasar said knowing his answer, "Fine."

"Thank you!" Ella said tacking Balasar with a hug.

Balasar almost fell over but caught himself from the surprise hug from Ella.

Ella let go. "Are you ready now to go?"

"Now!?!" Balasar asked, scratching his head in confusion. "But what about supplies?"

"Already got it all!" Ella said going into her rented room and showing him all the supplies they would need.

"How did you buy all of this?" Balasar asked her. There was so responsive. "Ella?"

"Ugh fine I'll tell you!" Ella said, rolling her eyes. "I might have stolen a little from some Orcs who tried to kill me the other day."

"What have I said about killing people and stealing?" Balasar said crossing his arms.

"Not to do it."

"And what did you do?"

"The exact thing you said not to," Ella said, not feeling guilty about it.

"Ugh you are so annoying sometimes," Balasar commented frustrated with the Elf.

"You are too," Ella said, putting on her leather armor and packing what she needed.

Balasar growled and put on his armor and equipped the sword they had used for the last adventure. He secretly missed doing this not that he would tell Ella that.

They prepared and were soon out the door ready to go on there last and final adventure not that they knew how hard the journey would be.
