“Farlough,” they said and at that she felt herself collapse.

She went inside herself feeling all control of her actions be given to the monster Water tried to control with all her might.

“Welcome to Farlough,” the scientist said to her as she awoke from her first night there. “Your new home.”

“I want my mommy!” She said tears daring to fall.

“Your mommy will be fine if you do what we ask!” The scientist said wiping water’s eyes. “Now stop crying, be a good child, and come with us.”

“Ok,” she said as they took her towards the experimentation room.

2 years later

“You didn’t do the best you could 406 we are disappointed,” the scientists said. “With your many recently disappointments, your family will be terminated.”

“Please!” 406 begged as they pulled her away from the room that the scientist had just talked to her. “I will do anything just don’t kill them!”

“Your pleads are futile, and if you read the books, we give you. You would know what that means.” The scientist casually said pressing a red button waiting for 406 to look at her before she said, “Terminate them all.”

“No!” 406 screamed as they dragged her out practically dragging her into another memory.

The same year

“Come,” the guard said, glaring at the tears running down 406’s face.

“No,” the little girl whispered getting up. “You shall never control me ever again.”

“We will whether we have you help or without it,” the guard said, coming towards her not thinking she could get the advantage of the situation.
Her eyes gleamed blue for the first time in her life and the jello from her uneaten dinner stabbed the guard in the arm.

The guard screamed as the jello knife stabbed him. “You retched twit!” The guard cried, shooting her leg. “That is what you get for hurting me and pain will be all you get when you disobey.”

She screamed and fell to the ground going through so much pain that she passed out. But not before she heard.
“You will never be able to escape if it is the last thing I do!”

The last day of hell, 14-year-old her.

The monster had only come out once before when she escaped. Blood stained her hands, but she felt like she could gain control if she wanted to not that that would happen.

“Oh, you so wanted didn’t you to control me,” She bent down hissing at the dead body of the guard that had told her she wouldn’t escape years ago. “Well, freedom is closer than most, and you were right over your dead body.”

She stepped over his body and laughed. “I controlled the monster too long now it is free,” she said walking over the bodies and hearing the alarm turning back to the guard. “Oh, I must go now sweethearts got a ride to text!”

With that she ran for her life blood driping down her fingers as it brought her back to the final memory.

A year or two later

Everything she had dreamed and hoped with the freedom of escape crashed and burned in front of her. With that, her monster begged to release a tsunami from the pain from her heart shattering.

“No!” Water cried, smashing her hands on the rocks, not caring that it cut them. “We won’t do that it is dangerous ok so stop begging me to do it!”

“I don’t want to be here anymore,” Water said, rocking back and forth her mind threatening to break. “There is nothing left for me on this planet.”

“But what about P215?” Her monster asked not wanting her to die.

“He won’t care about me I was a failure he saved them I didn’t so it won’t matter,” she answered emotions withdrawn.

“He would please they need you to know how to get back into this world,” her monster begged, trying to gain control to help her.

“We will see,” she whispered in return as she got back up and jumped into the ocean beginning the mission to find the hero that saved the day.

Real world

“Listen P217 I don’t want to talk ok!” she heard the monster say before she got control.

“No, no, no!” she cried, trying not to run away from Phoenix but from herself. She ran and ran in the woods a moose began to chance after her. Water had to jump up a tree and down a tree to escape the moose.

Anger followed how had she been so stupid! She wasn’t allowed to let it get control of her. The water in the stream boiled and she couldn’t control everything was falling apart. Phoenix looked at her in fear, terrified at who she was.

“Please,” she mentally begged Phoenix, but he wouldn’t know would he it was all in her head.

Phoenix ran and she let him go feeling her heart shatter more than it already was. But it couldn’t have been Phoenix it was here she knew it was. A monster she was that needed to be locked up in the deepest parts of the sea. She didn’t want to die but if it came to it, it would need to be done.

“No, don’t think like that-“ Her monster started.

“Shut up!” She screeched mentally feeling her body shake with anger. “You don’t get to say anything!”

“I can’t do this,” Water Witch said, hiding behind her new friend, Ainsel, going to the one who calmed Water. She knew that the monster was trying to talk to her but she would ignore her for a long, long time.

“It’s all going to be ok,” Ainsel said trying to comfort her, but that didn’t even ease her.

“Sure,” Water said, feeling herself draw deeper inside herself than she ever had before.
