Jesslynn Jones's Story

Chapter 12

The man's words played in my head the last couple of days. What if someone who loves space and just want to see whats out here really does get through? What if the Kree or Sovereign try to destroy Earth? My family is on Earth no the man is crazy.

"Hey Jessy. You okay?" Peter questions.

"Yeah." I say.

"You dont look okay. Are you sure your okay Kid?" Rocket asks.

"Yeah." I say.

Just then Mantis placed her hand on my arm and her antennas started to glow.

"You are worried that man we delivered to Xandar was telling the truth. Your frightened that your on Earth family might be in danger." Mantis says.

She let go of me and I just sat down and everyone was waiting for me to talk. What was I suppose to say?

"Okay. Guys, Im sorry. I think that he could be right. I know you all dont understand, but Earth still has my other family. What if a message does get out here and the Kree and Sovereign get the message or something. They family I have on Earth can be in big danger." I say.

"Jessy, we have seen people like him before. They are crazy drunks who are just looking for trouble. Dont listen to him." Peter says and kissed my head.

"Yeah maybe, but there is always a possibility that it could happen." I say.

"Thats true, but if the message is sent by some old man. Why would the Kree or Sovereign care?" Gamora questions.

"My sister is right the Kree and Sovereign want us not some old Earth man." Nebula says.

"Yeah as long as its a old man we dont have to worry. It not like one of our faces would show up." Drax says.

"Yeah I guess thats true." I say.

I got up and went to hallway and leaned up against the wall and took a deep breath.

"I know its a scary thought kid, but if an old man gets a message out here I dont think Earth would be in danger. If it worries you I can always take you back to Earth without the others knowing. You know that whenever you would want to go back to your Earth home." Rocket says.

"Yeah I know and maybe one day I'll want to go, but right now its a no." I say just I saw Peter.

"Oh hey Quill." Rocket says turning around and walking away.

Peter just looked at me and he looked alittle upset at what he just heard.

"Peter, I.." I start.

"I know. You have family back on Earth that you love, but if you choose to ever go back what would happen to us?" Peter questions.

"Peter lets not go off of this right now. I dont think we will ever have to worry about this. I love you Peter Jason Quill." I say.

"Okay. I love you too Jesslynn Rose Jones." He says and kisses me.

Now I dont know what came over me, but I just let Peter take me to his room and lets just say I was ready to be with Peter that way and no one wanted to disturb us.
